About this villa rental
Villa Blanca is a great family vacation house, located in Cabanyes, a quiet urbanisation in the village Calonge. It is a typical Spanish villa white with round shapes, situated at the end of a dead-end street and at the edge of a national park. This guarantees that you can take a sunbath undisturbed by the pool and in the well maintained garden.
Our villa is at cycling distance from the beach of Sant-Antoni and local supermarkets. For those who want some more action: Playa De Aro (a paradise for shopping and nightlife) and Palamos are only 10min away by car. The location is perfect for citytrips to Barcelona and Girona.
Villa Blanca has a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room (with fire place) and a seperate dining room, all with access to one of the terraces. Every bedroom as well as the living room has got airco.
Two of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, both with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom (1 with shower and one with shower and bath) and with direct acces to the front terrace. Upstairs in the roud-shaped tower are the other 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower.
All around the villa there are terrasses with sunscreens to enjoy the sun or shadow all day long. A Weber barbeque is present to enjoy quality time with family or friends. In front of the villa there is a magnificent private pool, with an outside shower and a separate sun terrace.
Please note that there may be governmental water regulations in place at the time of your visit, which may impact the use of the pool, garden watering or limit tap water usage.

Pros: The pool was amazing and having air con was well needed
Cons: Problems with mice in the kitchen, strong smell of sewage in the house occasionally. One night of rain resulted in no electric for a day so unable to shower for 7 people day and morning and having to use an electric socket outside to use kettle and toaster. Plus only been told upon arrival that we have to dispose of all our rubbish at the local tip which was unacceptable for the cost of the villa and having to take our final bag the day we left with the car full and putting the rubbish on my wife's lap wasn't my idea of a good departure. Plus would of expected some compensation for the problems

Pros: The villa is very well equipped and the owners have thought of everything a family might need
We loved the pool and the lovely gardens and made use of the bbq
Cons: We wished that we had booked two cars as you really need one to go anywhere even the nearest supermarket. The car we had was useful but we had to make two trips so 6 of us could go to the nearest beach

Pros: Wat een prachtig huis en wat een ligging / uitzicht! Alles voorzien en tip-top in orde. De airco's (in elke kamer) zijn een bijkomend groot pluspunt. Aan het zwembad zit je helemaal privé, vlak naast een natuurgebied. Het dorp en het strand zijn vlakbij met de auto en een uitstap naar het levendige Platja d'Aro duurt nog geen 10 minuten. Wij komen zeker terug!

Pros: Perfecte vakantie gehad in dit prachtige huis! Contact met de eigenaar en mensen Spain Holiday verliepen super vlot.
Het huis is super proper, voorzien van alle luxe, goed gelegen en heeft een subliem uitzicht!
