Not as good as it used to be.

This is the 4th time my partner and I have stayed here. The location, views, star gazing are all amazing.

The pods seem to have went downhill since our first stay. The shower was dirty, there was some form of sticky residue on the walls and there was no wood etc provided for the fire pit. Unfortunately due to this, and the increased prices, we won’t be back.

Beautiful pods

Absolutely loved our stay! The pod was great, completely met our expectations. It was warm, comfortable, clean and other than bedding/towels, had everything we needed including plates, cups, cutlery, pots and pans, a microwave, toaster, kettle and a small electric hob. The horses in the field next to the pods are beautiful and very friendly. The field is enclosed so great for small kids or dogs to run about without them being able to escape! It is muddy though so remember to bring boots - I forgot and my trainers got ruined 😢 great little place to escape to though, would definitely recommend!

The only negative I have is the drive to the pods when you leave the main road - 2.5 miles of single track road. The road itself is absolutely fine to drive on but there aren’t many passing places so be prepared to reverse should you encounter an oncoming vehicle. I had to reverse 3 times on the way in and almost ended up in the bushes 🙈

Great reset in beautiful surroundings.

The pods were lovely, clean and had plenty of space for a family of 3. The area was stunning and good for people that’s like to walk around and explore although you can also drive if you prefer. Having horses right next to the pod was a lovely bonus too.

Nothing One point for awareness for anyone going is to take more firewood if you want the fire on all evening. There is a lovely starter pack that will last a few hours.

We had a great stay and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their little adventure

The location. The size was so much bigger than expected, perfect for the kids.

The pod was lovely, but a little more attention to detail and cleanliness would be beneficial. Whilst putting sheets on the double mattress, after pulling back there were spiders and lots of dust etc. A little dust would make a difference in the bathroom etc as lots of cobwebs with flies. But apart from that could not fault.

We will definitely be back

Everything! It was perfect for a family of four with two teens. Pods were exceptionally clean with own bbq, fire pit and sheltered eating area. Also spaced away enough from other pods. Loved the walks round about especially the fairy walk. The stables were amazing and the horses were so friendly and regularly came for a clap. The stars at night were also amazing, managed to see the Milky Way clearly and a variety of shooting stars. We will definitely be back. There was also a stove for cooking a kettle, microwave and a BBQ.

Peaceful and recharging

Perfect weekend with peace and quiet. Fantastic views. 2nd time visitors so knew what to expect and will definitely return again in the future.

Shower was a bit mouldy at the bottom but didn't effect use. This is my only criticism.

It was fine

I like that there was microwave and kettle appliances to use. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Too much grass because of that there was too much misquitoes we not able to sleep all night and there was not any fan on the pod it was very warm inside the pod. There was less lightning inside and outside as well for to do barbecue. Bed Mattress was so hard. It was not a good experience unfortunately

Very happy with our stay and the owner was very responsive and helpful.

Excellent, quiet location for us. The pod was better equipped than we had though as it has a small hob and microwave. Loads of paths for us to walk the dogs and relax.

The lighting could have been better in the main sitting area but this is just a minor thing. It didn't stop us working.

Overall well worth the stay with some minor tweaks

Location, couldn’t be beaten-fresh clean and tidy

Not enough kindlings to get a fire going, did manage in the finish, needs some zip fire lighters and new lighter., Needs new outside chairs, rotten. And make sure you don’t come in the back way like we did on motorbikes, not good for riders with no experience. There the only reasons for not giving it a 10

Perfect little get away

We absolutely loved our wee overnight. The pod was spotless and has everything you need. It was a shame about the weather but took some board games and cards which entertained the kids. My wee girl was in her element with the horses right at our door. Will definitely be recommending and booking another visit.

Amazing pods, comfy and great staff/owner!

Absolutely amazing accommodation and staff!! We booked this for a family of 4 including a 2 year old and 6 year old and it was perfect. Unfortunately my children happened to fall poorly whilst we were there (unrelated to accommodation) and the staff/owner was so lovely and helped us in every single way including extra sheets, washing our sicky clothes and providing bags and sick bowl. She went above and beyond. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great, the view is amazing and often got horses visiting us on their side of the fence which are very friendly. Very clean. Highly recommended!

Was hard to find to begin with and the address on apple maps and on here took us to the wrong place around 10 mins from the actual pods. If you type in craigengillian estate the pods are sign posted from there.

Lovely quiet rural getaway in a comfortable, clean glamping pod.

The pod is set in a beautiful location with horse paddocks, rivers and woodlands. It is only one of two pods so very peaceful. The pod itself is very comfortable and self sufficient with own kitchenette and bathroom. I would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway with plenty walks in the surrounding area.

The place will be slightly tricky to find in the dark, so make sure you know where you are going. No bedding, towels or kitchen tea towels/sponges are provided, so best to bring this along.

Peccato non aver potuto pernottare per più giorni.

Il pod è in una posizione magnifica immersa nella natura. Purtroppo siamo rimasti solo una notte e non abbiamo potuto sfruttare l’area esterna con il barbecue ma abbiamo acceso un falò nel caratteristico braciere con la legna che ci era stata fornita.

La struttura non è per nulla segnalata quindi arrivando tardi abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovarla. Si arriva al fondo di una stradina sterrata e ci si trova davanti a due cancelli chiusi senza cartelli. Per arrivare al pod bisogna aprire il cancello e attraversare un ponticello di legno poi proseguire ancora un po’ attraverso la strada nel bosco.
