La Defense Hotel Yerevan

Huge rooms, some of them even with their own private garages. The hotel also offers a pool open until 11 p.m., which was a great bonus. The staff were absolutely wonderful — the lovely young men at reception were exceptionally kind and helpful, the kind of people you rarely come across. The kitchen is open all night, and the khachapuri was excellent! The staff went out of their way to accommodate every request. The hotel is in a very quiet location and conveniently close to the airport. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Great accommodation, good breakfast and most importantly: parking, which is a big plus for Yerevan. Also, the hotel has a big swimming pool.

Swimming lessons for children were being held at the pool. I noticed that some parents entered the pool area wearing their outdoor shoes.

Very Kind staff, reception open 24/24, comfortable position from/to airport and for visiting Yerevan surroundings. Very good armenian dinner available at hotel premises.

Nothing to note

Somehow, Booking.com recommended this hotel to us as being near the airport, but it is not near the airport at all. We landed at 3 a.m. and left the airport at 5 a.m. It took us over 20 minutes to get to the hotel, including some roads that were in quite poor condition. The next day, we left the hotel at midday, and it took us over 35 minutes to get back to the airport. The breakfast was rather poor. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the room was spacious, but overall, everything was very basic. The biggest issue is definitely the location — I would not consider this hotel to be an airport hotel.

far from the airport with traffic and poor breakfast
