Spacious house in a lovely location, great kitchen facilities and nice bathroom and shower room

The stairs are very steep, the floor on the ground floor is coming up and so a trip hazard, not enough cutlery, TV didnt work and WiFi was very weak. Garden was overgrown and no garden furniture.

Beds were clean and comfy enough, access and keys were available from a lock-box and the code was sent ahead with plenty of time. No issues accessing or collecting. We didn't get mithered by the host and were left to go about our business which is ideal with this sort of location. We used the location as a long weekend bed-for-the-night and breakfast in the morning. For that, its perfect. If you intended to spend the day or evening there, you might not consider it the best but for us, it had everything we needed, was well presented and we had no issues.

There were no TV's in the bedrooms which is a big miss these days. The couch is old and did need replacing but we didnt use the lounge at all. There are various bits and pieces that need updating or replacing, like laminate floorboards, or what felt like a broken stair, but it is what it is. Some of the reviews on here were pretty condemning but if you just need a place to sleep and have breakfast theres literally zero issues.

They had everything prepared for us to enjoy the stay.

The garden was extremely run down 3ft stinging nettles grass not cut, cigarette butts left near door as well as an overfilled bin, kitchen was huge and would have benefited a dishwasher, only one t-towel was provided
