A good break

A good location for shops and Fort William. Good starting point for other journeys. A comfortable bed. Kitchen was fine for us, oven was good. Lovely living room to relax in with views of the horses and sheep. Absolutely lovely and helpful hosts.

Shower switch didn’t work well, owners are addressing this. The water in the bathroom sink is a slow dribble. Back view from bedroom needs a tidy, probably work ongoing.

Functional kitchen, consistent shower heat and water pressure, comfortable beds, cosy living room, lovely view of sheep and horses, convenient location, friendly hosts.

Lovely property with a great view of Ben Nevis. Great location for exploring. The cottage had everything you could possibly need and on top of that hosted by very attentive hosts.

Perfect place to unwind and start experiences

Beautifully situated with a fantastic view of Ben Nevis, surrounded by nature yet centrally located. The apartment is very clean and pretty, with thoughtful furnishings. It really has everything you need. The hosts, Paul and his wife, are very friendly and extremely helpful. Paul gave us great tips for excursions in the area. Thank you so much for everything; we felt very comfortable!

Beautiful, comfy cottage

Beautiful cottage, which everything you need. Very nice vicinity, where you can walk a bit. Little kitchen with all you need to cook little meals. Good bathroom. Everyone in our group was delighted to stay there.

The Ben the Nevis the view

Outstanding. The best acommodation (out of 6) during our Scotland trip. Lovely apartment - actually detached house (next to the house of the hosts). Friendly host. Calm location. Stores nearby (few minutes by car, or even in walking distance). Few restaurants in the town. Neptuns staircase and the viaduct are must sees. "Treasures of the Earth" is a superb gemstone museum (we have seen many around the world, but this one was a real surprise). But the real higlight is the Ben Nevis veiw from the terrace in front of the appartment. (Ben Nevis can be climbed by walking directly from the apartment, which I did.) Absolutely recommended.

The location is quiet and very scenic with pastoral, woodland, and mountain views. Ben Nevis, in all its glory, is on display from the front deck. It is minutes from two great grocery stores. Perfect location for day tripping the western Highlands and islands.

Need to have detailed instructions for operating the door locks, electrics, heating and water systems for non-europeans.

Stunning location and lovely hosts

The location - at the foothills of Ben Nevis and the view for breakfast and dinner 🥰 The property was extremely clean. Paul and Luh were very welcoming. The house has everything we could possibly need

Mattresses weren't the most comfortable but we were there for a night so it really didn't bother us. Low shower pressure but it isn't a bad idea to save water. Shampoo dispensers didn't really work.

Small cottage with a great view

The location is amazing with a view on the glen right in front and the Ben Nevis to the left. There's a nice walk nearby along the river and through the woods. The cottage is small, simple and convenient.

The cottage was a bit cold, especially the floor. The water in the kitchen was lukewarm (shower was fine, with a separate Mira heater). The double bed could be bigger and the mattress was a bit hard for my taste, although that already felt better the second night.

Excellent peaceful getaway in a luxurious home

Location is amazing, 5 mins away from Ben Nevis gondola , 10 mins away from fort William centre , hence out in the open. Easy to navigate to, good parking spaces , well equipped with all necessities, very clean and tastefully decorated, comfortable beds , good shower and toilet etc.

The heating system could be less complicated, each heater has a control panel that needs to be unlocked by keeping + & - pressed together, then temp adjustments can be made ( difficult for those not acquainted with the same model) , there was a cold air leaking into the toilet from somewhere around the window there. These are minor things , Paul and Luh were always very helpful and quick to respond.

Annex small, in our opinion not worth the amount we paid for 4 nights. Sofa’s really uncomfortable with no cushions to aid comfort levels. We were disturbed to note that there were no smoke/heat detectors throughout property……only a fire blanket.

Warm and cosy in great location but as compared to other cottages was overpriced

location was fantastic and the owners could not do enough to make us feel welcome including driving us to restaurant after taxi did not show up. Ample car parking

The kitchen was very small, especially for 4 people and when coming home at night when it was dark, the outside lights did not cover the key box. The view from the kitchen was not very good. Needs tidying up The Taxi service in Fort William was appalling

The Cottage itself is right next two the main house of the landlords, which is quite handy by problems or questions. The kitchen has all the things you need to cook yourself (no freezer or dishwasher just to be clear) and a tea/coffee tray set up. We would stay here again for sure!
