Apartment 51 - Bright, spacious, lux 1 bedroom in the city center - Stari grad

Huge apartment so spacious! Good location! Lovely staff. Comfy bed!

A few things could make this apartment perfect: The shower wasnt very comfy, showerhead should ge replaced. Cheap and easy to do and very well worth the effort. More expensive to do but still major importance: The air conditioner. It is weak and it was not good enough. Not so major but has impact: couches in living room

Of the many apartments in which I have stayed in Belgrade, this definitely tops the list. 1. The location is excellent, a few metres from the main pedestrian thoroughfare of Knez Mihailova but in a quiet, leafy street. 2. Communications with both the owner Marko and his son Uroš were virtually instantaneous and extremely professional, efficient and friendly. 3. The apartment is exactly as described - bright and spacious with large windows on both sides. 4. The decor and furnishings are stylish and comfortable. 5. Very comfortable bed and pillows 6. Monogrammed pillow cases and towels add an unexpected chic touch 7. Excellent wifi signal.

For such an outstanding apartment, it seems churlish to mention some minor negative points, although the owner told me most of them were in the process of being rectified. 1. The bin liners are very thin and should be improved. 2. There are a number of large beaker glasses in the kitchen but only one smaller glass. 3. The bathroom needs a towel rack to dry used towels. 4. The bracket holding the shower nozzle is too high and at the wrong angle making it useless for hand free showering. 5. There is a lot of storage and hanging space in the bedroom wardrobe but much of the space is taken up with extra bedding, towels, pillows etc. 6. Basic kitchen commodities are not plentiful. 7. There is a small table in the bedroom but it is not suitable to use as a desk. There is plenty of space in the sitting room to put in a desk or workspace. 8. The biggest problem are the curtains in the bedroom. They fail to keep out the early morning sun and should either be replaced with heavier ones or awnings installed on the exterior windows. Once these matters are rectified, I have no doubt this apartment will be thoroughly deserving on a 10/10 rating.

We recently stayed at Apartment 51 and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The central location provided us with easy access to all the amenities and attractions we wanted to explore, making our trip incredibly convenient. The apartment itself was impressively spacious and impeccably clean, making us feel right at home. We also want to highlight our host, who was exceptionally accommodating and responsive to all our needs. Overall, we highly recommend Apartment 51 for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay.
