FOREST Guest House

the location up in the valley is very nice. you can easily walk up the river or into the mountains.the place is very quiet and beautiful. the guesthouse has a very pretty garden, and the house stays cool in the heat. the room is large and clean and the bed very confortable. squat toilets only but they are very clean and the shower is inside the house with hot water. but the the thing I liked the most about this place is the family that runs it. everyone is very welcoming and they did there best to help me. I had lunch and dinner here and the food was very good too. you should really come here if you stay a few days in Samarkand. it is easy to come here using a yango taxi, and the family can help you find a taxi when you leave. I hope I'll come back someday.

I was really sad to have to leave the place!

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The garden is incredible to eat breakfast, relax and read. The family are wonderful, taking me to go fishing in the stream just outside the house, as well as to a local wedding, quite an experience!

Tussen de lokale mensen, relatief achteraan in het dorp.

De verhuurders waren verbaasd dat we kwamen, leek wel of we niet gelegen kwamen. Zeer ongemakkelijke sfeer. Waren geen huurder gewend. Geen introductie of rondleiding waar je wat kan vinden. Huurders zelf spreken geen Engels, de zoon wel 'n beetje. Het registreren van toeristen kunnen ze zelf niet, moest n verdere kennis van hun doen. Ontbijt was zeer matig, wc is gat in de grond achter in de tuin, zwembad op foto Booking.com was leeg en vol met spullen (opslag dus) en tenslotte vroegen ze 50 euro voor 1 nacht, terwijl Booking 27 euro was. En 27 euro is al veel te veel voor deze accommodatie.
