We stayed four nights and Rowan House B&B is now one our favourite B&B's in the UK thanks to: the beautiful location on the banks of Loch Goil, the owner Anna who is very kind and really cares about her guests, the delicious, generous breakfasts with lots of choice and the comfortable, quiet rooms with all the facilities needed (great shower, kettle, tea/coffee, fridge, good wifi, comfy beds). There are loads of interesting places & walks nearby. Loch Goil is clean and the gently sloping banks makes it ideal for paddling or swimming. The private garden on the banks of the Loch is ideal for relaxing or picnicing. A gem of a B&B!

Rowan house is a fantastic property, this was our second stay here and it is exactly how we remembered. Anna is a lovely host who is kind and caring and nothings ever a bother. We enjoy coming here to relax and have some time away from busy lives.

The view of Loch Goil from the window is stunning, the atmosphere is calming and mindful, the room is immaculate, breakfast was excellent, and the host is warm, friendly and kind. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
