affordable stay but very noisy from nightclubs in the building

I was informed one day before arrival that there is a nightclub in the same building, it was much too late to cancel the booking and make another so I had to keep it. There is actually 2 night clubs in the building, the music is very loud from 11pm until after 7am, so sleep was disturbed for the 2 nights I stayed. The room was cleanish, however, the bed must of had bed bugs in as I had lots of bites all over and had the windows shut so cannot have been anything that came in through the window. Reasonable value, but the points above detracted from the experience.

Cleanliness could be better i.e bed, & should be made clear in advert there is a nightclub in the building

The host is really nice and the location is great

There is basicaly nobody at the reception. The room doesnt get cleaned during your stay and we barely had any toilet paper. Don’t expect luxury at all.

Great location if you just need a place to sleep. It was below our expectations of a "luxury" suite.

Location was great, 5 minute walk to the center of the city in Belgrade. Transparent shower was also cool.

The elevator wasn't functioning, and we had to walk the stairs until the 5th floor every day. Although they mentioned it to us, and gave us a 10% discount, it was only one day before the arrival, which didn't give us enough time to search for a new place, so our best option was to stay with this. The building overall was filthy and the wires from the broken elevator were out, creating a hazard. They also didn't mention the existance of two clubs within the building, which over the weekend you could feel the bass and hear some muffled music until late in the morning hours.

great spot but not quiet

location is good the hosts are very kind and easy to communicate with via whatsapp

the appartment didn't smell great. the fridge made a lot of sound so had to be turned off to be able to sleep. the airco is right above the bed so also needs to off at night because it makes noise and gets cold easily. also there's a nightclub on the first floor, so Thursday - Saturday be prepared to hear music until 5 am.

What a nightmare

No matter how much the property explains, it cannot change the fact that this is a property that is prone to conflict with guests and is extremely controversial. No one will take the risk. The property repeatedly defended itself instead of facing up to its mistakes and correcting them. There are many negative reviews about this property on Google Maps, including one about the staff having an anger disorder. The staff didn't let us get out of the elevator and even lied that it was for our safety. If it was for our safety, they should have let us get out of the elevator! This is where the staff did something bad, and now they are lying! There is a nightclub called Club Echelon downstairs, which is very noisy from 11pm to 4am, and we can't sleep at all. It is not recommend staying here.

I strongly refute the false and offensive statements in the response of the property. I would like to clarify the following: 1. The property itself admitted that there was no load limit notice posted outside the elevator on the 0th floor. If it is a fully functional elevator, why is there no alarm for overload? Judging from other guests' reviews on Google Maps, this elevator often breaks down. 2. Because the staff refused to check me in and falsely stated to Booking.com that they did not refuse me to check in, am I wrong to say that you are lying? When I checked in for the second time, the staff had hung up the call with Booking.com. Now the hotel says that I am preventing them from communicating directly? 3. The staff blocked the elevator entrance and prevented us from going out, we said in our own language, "Hurry up and press the elevator down", but the staff repeated our language "down, down" in a contemptuous tone. Isn't this racial discrimination? 4. There is a nightclub downstairs, which is very noisy from 11pm to 4am. This is a big disadvantage. Why don't you make this public? Are there nightclubs downstairs in the all downtown hotels? Do we have to stay at your place? 5. I revised it repeatedly because the property was repeatedly revising it and publishing false statements. If I violate the law, you are welcome to sue me or send me a lawyer's letter instead of just threatening me.

The host was very forthcoming and kind. He was waiting for us even though we arrived quite late. He was available on Whatsapp to help us find the location too even though it wasn't necessary since the place is as central as it can possibly get.

The apartment Is located in a building that has several issues (like no functioning lights in many floors) and that could be a little scary when you come back at night. The room is nice but the furniture starts to show the effect of time...
