It is in a very Spanish area with some lovely local coffee shops and restaurants. Good access to tram, around 8min walk. Walking to the old town takes around 20min but you can take a tram.
Owners are lovely and very responsive. Give you all the information you need.
We were lots out and about so did not mind that the flat was little dark but if you are planning to be there lots you may find it bit daunting. There are windows in the seating room but have a privacy film on so you get very little daylight.

Convenient location, clean apartment, attentive host. A dishwasher and a washing machine. Good supply of small necessities like spices, oil, coffee, laundry and dishwashing products, cosmetics.
Like in many accommodations in Alicante, the front door as well as windows to the apartment lead directly to the street. For this reason you can hear some noise from the street and the neighbors, too. The apartment also feels a little dingy, like a basement.
