Die Unterkunft liegt genau am Ortsrand von Thonon-les-Bains quasi direkt an der Autobahn. Bis zum Genfer See sind es circa 35 Minuten zu Fuß; zurück etwas länger ;-) Fußläufig ist auch ein kleiner Supermarkt ereichbar.
Vor der Ankunft erhält man eine kleine Wegbeschreibung, mit der man das Haus einwandfrei finden kann.
Bei meiner Ankunft war niemand zuhause, aber der Schlüssel war in einem Depot hinterlegt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich, haben 2 Kinder und einen Hund. Amalia spricht auch sehr gut Englisch.
Das Zimmer an sich ist recht klein, aber es gibt einen Kühlschrank und einen Wasserkocher. Des weiteren ist man herzlich willkommen, die Küche im Haus und den Gemeinschaftsbereich mitzunutzen. Auf der Terrasse gibt es auch einen Pool und zahlreiche Liegen und Sitzmöglichkeiten. Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich.
Die Autobahn ist trotz Schallschutzwänden leider doch ordentlich zu hören. Aber dafür können die Besitzer nichts.
