Riad Vis Ta Vie

The riad has such a unique atmosphere — it’s incredibly beautiful, and the staff are genuinely involved and caring. It’s a family-run business, and Youseff, the son, spent time talking with us about Arab culture and the celebration that was taking place while we were there. It made the whole experience feel very authentic and personal.

The air conditioning unit was positioned directly above the bed, so we couldn’t really keep it on during the night. Because of that, the room became very hot overnight. I think it would also help to have a fan in the room, since it could be positioned wherever needed for more comfort.

Good location in the Medina once I found it . The staff , particularly Youssef and his brother Assad were most helpful . I liked that I was on the ground floor on my first night there ( I’m 80 years old.)

On my return after my trip to the Sahara desert , they put me in a room on the second floor and I had to climb two steep flights of stairs to get to it - it was very hard on me !! When I complained they said they had other long term travelers staying on the ground floor - but there were three young men in the room I had stayed in for the first night ! They could easily have stayed on the second floor . Also the toilet broke in the room a few hours after I arrived there , when I was staying on the second visit . Youssef came to fix it - but soon after I returned in the afternoon of that same day ; it broke again and I could not flush it - they did not fix it again .

The location it’s good !! The guys very nice and women to clean !!

This room have Humidity because it’s older house !! I’m very sick because this problem !! And bathroom have problem to water . All riad it’s very older looking to hotel I’m think more better!! The breakfast not good!! I’m pay expensive to bad work!!
