Location of the lodge was superb
Right, this place isn’t the most modern inside but location wise is ideally situated and Ian the owner is very knowledgeable about the area and has lots of time for visitors to let them know about it!! Breakfast was nice, room was small but again clean so overall happy with my stay.

Amazing historic property in an excellent location. Close to walks and a pub across the road. Iain was a great host, provided lots of helpful advice on local walks. Wonderful cooked breakfast.
Facilities and rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade.
