The location was perfect for getting around and in/out of Shrewsbury. My sister and I stayed three nights and ate dinner at the Beacon Hotel located in the neighborhood. It was a pleasant walk. We had a great conversation with Mike about the history of the area and places to visit.

The accommodation was perfect--great bedroom, sofa with tv and little kitchen..great shower room plus a private patio to relax and read. SO much better than a hotel room!

This was a perfect getaway spot. Close to Shrewsbury with so much available there. It was spotlessly clean, a very well planned garden house. The cooking dining/sitting area provided all that was needed. The comfortable bedroom at the back opens onto a nice decking area to sit for a coffee, framed by trees behind. Dawn offers help if needed but happy to let you enjoy your time. It ticked all my boxes and met all my needs.

1. Location was great, walkable to two great pubs and also town centre 2. Parking was great 3. Cleverly thought out, location of summerhouse felt very separate from the house 4. Living area compact but works 5. Window Blinds’s are great 7. Hive heating/heated towel rail, felt warm even when -6 8. Kitchen had everything, though we are out 9. Towels/bedding nice quality 10. Communication very good from host
Sadly, and maybe the hosts would not be aware unless they slept on the bed. The mattress is awful, worst mattress ever, sinks on both sides and needs replacing asap. Shame as everything else was spot on.
