G&E Harbour Apartments

Great location

I had booked the apartment from booking.com to avoid any problems but the apartment manager asked me to pay by Revolut once in the apartment. Something that I didn't accept because I had given my bank details to Booking.com in order to rent the apartment and it wouldn't have shown that the payment on Revolut was for the rented apartment or maybe it was in order to avoid booking.com commission and charges. Just by magic, the apartment manager managed to charge my stay 1 week after that I had left the apartment.

The host is very friendly, kind, accommodating and responsive.

There was a funny smell the moment we entered and it felt like the apartment hadn’t been opened for a while. During the night we realised that the bedsheets albeit clean were dusty leading to an allergic reaction. We barely slept. The following night we had a major issue with mosquitoes with no available plug-in repellents on site. Unfortunately the host's kindness could not make up for a tired-looking apartment that significantly lacked attention. Consider installing a bathroom door, have on-site mosquito repellents/mosquito nets, and ensure extra care when cleaning. Minor aesthetic details can also improve the stay and interior.
