Niewątpliwie świetna lokalizacja. Bardzo wygodne łóżko w sypialni. Dostępny parking przy mieszkaniu. Ciche i spokojne miejsce blisko średniowiecznego zamku i katedry. Bezproblemowe zakwaterowanie. Akceptacja psów w apartamencie. Undoubtedly a great location. Very comfortable bed in bedroom. Parking available at the flat. Quiet and peaceful location close to medieval castle and cathedral. Hassle-free accommodation. Acceptance of dogs in the flat.

Niestety apartament nie był idealnie czysty. Samo umycie podłóg, wymiana pościeli i przetarcie kurzów nie wystarczy. Musiałem umyć okna w drzwiach i kuchni bo były bardzo zabrudzone a to jedyne okna przez, które wpada światło dzienne. Przy bardzo ciemnym i ciężkim wystroju mieszkania ten drobny szkopół ma ogromne znaczenie. Zero kontaktu i zainteresowania ze strony właścicielki. Wybraliśmy ten apartament ze względu, że lubimy średniowieczne klimaty. Niestety mieszkanie jest bardzo małe a w szczególności dolna część. Wystruj średniowiecznych mebli bardzo przytłacza co daje w rezultacie bardzo ciężki, ciemny klimat. Jak dla mnie za dużo starych mebli co również daje nam bardzo nieprzyjemny, stęchły zapach w mieszkaniu. Rozumiem, że właścicielka chciała bardziej podkreślić pochodzenie tego miejsca. Unfortunately, the flat was not perfectly clean. Just washing the floors, changing the bedding and wiping the dust is not enough. I had to clean the windows in the doorway and the kitchen because they were very dirty and these are the only windows through which daylight enters. With a very dark and heavy flat décor, this minor inconvenience makes a huge difference. Zero contact and interest from the owner. We chose this flat because we like the medieval atmosphere. Unfortunately, the flat is very small, especially the lower part. The medieval furniture is very overpowering which results in a very heavy, dark atmosphere. For me, too much old furniture which also gives us a very unpleasant, musty smell in the flat. I understand that the owner wanted to emphasise the origin of the place more.

Vakantiehuisje met middeleeuwse sfeer uniek gelegen naast het kasteel van Fougeres

De sfeer in het huisje sluit geheel aan bij de middeleeuwse omgeving. Dit gedeelte van Fougeres is echt prachtig. Het bed is heel fijn met goede lakens en het huisje heeft prima verlichting.

In zowel de woonkamer als de slaapkamer staan veel grote donkere meubels die visueel een mooie sfeer scheppen maar wel veel ruimte innemen. Wij waren hier 5 nachten en we hebben ons in de slaapkamer vaak aan de kastjes gestoten. Het was ons bekend dat er een nauwe stijle trap is en dat ging prima maar als je slecht ter been bent is dat echt een obstakel.

Super Lage, aber trotzdem lieber nicht nochmal.

Die Unterkunft war relativ nah an der größten Attraktion des Ortes, nur einen kurzen Fußmarsch bis zu der großen Burganlage. Direkt vor dem Haus steht eine Kirche mit ein paar Parkplätzen, die man auch für die FeWo nutzen kann. So hatte man einen Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus und kurze Wege zum ein- und ausladen. Der Vermieter war zwar telefonisch nie direkt erreichbar (immer nur Mailbox), aber wenn man ihn über Booking.com angeschrieben hat, kam meist innerhalb weniger Stunden eine Antwort. In English: The appartement was situated only a few steps from the biggest, most interesting sight of the town, a very old, very big castle/fortress. The car can be parked directly in front of the house, using one of the spots from the church directly opposite from the house, so unloading/packing can easily be done. The landord could not be contacted via phone (malibox every time we tried), but normally, he answered within a few hours after contacting him via booking.com.

Schlafzimmer und Bad waren nur über eine sehr steile Treppe mit wahnsinnig kurzen Stufen erreichbar. Für ältere Menschen und alle, die nicht mehr wirklich 100 % sicher auf den Beinen sind, eine echte Sturzgefahr und definitiv nicht zu empfehlen. Die Toilette war eine Konstruktion, die ich so noch nie gesehen habe. Die Spülung bestand aus einem Knopf, der dafür gesorgt hat, dass ein wenig Wasser in die durch eine kleine Metallklappe nach unten verschlossene Schüssel geflossen ist. Dann ging die Klappe auf und das "Geschäft' wurde mit einem lauten Zischen eingesaugt. So weit wäre das ja noch alles okay, wenn sich nicht immer auch ein Teil des Toiletteninhalts ins Waschbecken hoch gedrückt hätte. Das fanden wir dann doch ziemlich unappetitlich und haben versucht, das Ganze dadurch zu entschärfen, dass wir während des Spülvorgangs auch am Waschbecken das Wasser haben laufen lassen. Aber das führte nur dazu, dass uns die Brühe noch zusätzlich über den Beckenrand auf die nackten Füße geflogen ist. Da sollte dringend Abhilfe geschaffen werden. Wir hatten zwischenzeitlich ein Problem mir dem Warmwasser, sodass wir an einem Tag eiskalt duschen mussten. Das konnte der Vermieter aber im Laufe des Tages zum Glück direkt beheben. Leider hatte sich weder der Handwerker noch der Vermieter dazu verpflichtet gefühlt, danach im Bad auch nur mal die auf dem Fußboden liegen gebliebenen Schrauben, Kabelreste und sonstigen Dreck wenigstens mit dem Kehrblech aufzufegen. Aber immerhin ging das Warmwasser noch am gleichen Abend wieder. Für mich war der einzig wirklich bequeme Platz zum Sitzen und Entspannen das Bett. Es gibt kein richtiges Sofa, nur eine Holzbank mit dünnen Sitzkissen und ungepolsterter, steiler Rückenlehne. Das war zwar nett anzusehen, aber furchtbar ungemütlich. Allerdings kann man dem Vermieter das nicht vorwerfen, diese Tatsache ist, wenn man sich die Bilder der Wohnung richtig anschaut, von Anfang an zu erkennen.
