A simply beautiful, cosy cottage right in the centre of Southwold. Gorgeous lounge, kitchen and bedroom

No toilet upstairs.

The cottage is really big, has everything you need, great location, clean and comfortable. The house has loads of history, my favourite bit of information was that the floorboards in the bedroom came from ships, totally brought the place alive with character. The hosts were very thoughtful, bottle of wine and local produce to great you and a great information pack with everything you could possibly want to know from local restaurants to shops and walks and how to use the log burner.

Everything! The cottage is adorable, super comfy/cosy and beautifully decorated. A perfect place to relax and unwind.

There was nothing truly unlikeable about the property, although, as others have said, it should be noted that the bathroom and toilet is downstairs and that the staircase is very steep and windy with deep steps. The latter caused some anxiety my 85 year old mother. We found a way for her to navigate the stairs! I don’t wish this to sound overly negative as the cottage is stunning. It might just be helpful for others to be aware of potential issues.

Very comfortable, excellent location. Well equipped, charming decor. So cosy and comfortable for an autumn stay. The location is perfect. We were three adults and the cottage felt spacious, with everything we needed and more.

I think the floor cleaning product is not quite right - the wooden floors were incredibly slippy!
