First Line Sea View apartment in Rafailovici

The location was excellent. The property was clean, the views were fantastic!

No WiFi was available as advertised, but the owner/agent came with a SIM card! The electric hob was fitted the wrong way around, so the controls were at the back, this was dangerous to get to, very hot in a tight space, and one of the 2 rings had no numbers on to control temperature so you didn’t know if it was on or off! Our stay was 11days and no cleaner which was fine, but the studio was carpeted with no vacuum supplied to clean, the terrace furniture was very uncomfortable to sit on, the water flow on the kitchen sink and toilet was very slow! A toaster would have been great!😊

Location and the view from the balcony. All the needed facilities, albeit not in great condition.

The worst thing was that WiFi wasn’t working from day one and for the entire week the owner just ignored our messages both on booking and on WhatsApp, where he has contacted us previously. As a result we had to rely on cellular data for the entire stay. Zero communication whatsoever, makes me wonder what we would do if something more urgent or serious has happened. The apartment needs maintenance and cleaning. The AC was very noisy and we were constantly waking up because of its crackles. It also leaked on the balcony, leaving a rusty puddle. The entire room’s floor was covered with a fitted carpet and it has certainly seen better days, it was especially dirty near the kitchen. For some reason the induction top in the kitchen was randomly beeping throughout the day and night, even though it was turned off and nothing was on it (it was also installed backwards!). Lots of other small unpleasant things that could go on and on.
