An excellent and spacious apartment, with a large terrace that had the very best views of the bay ...stunning!! It provided us with a great place to stay for 4 days and to was a great base to visit local attractions e.g. Cockington village / the bus-steam train-ferry trip to Dartmouth / coast walk to Meadfoot Beach and road walk back. Bistro Pierre's immediately below the apartment is an excellent restaurant and bar, with terraces with that marvellous view. All in all, a great short stay on the seafront in a superb apartment ...thank you Luxury Coastal and host Donna!

Be warned ...the apartment is on a very steep hill for walking but there is free parking on the long level road for loading in your luggage. The marina and seafront areas are excellent with lovely gardens and bars/restaurants but the town hasn't caught up with the former but it's still a busy place for shopping. The road below the apartment is quite busy with traffic noise rising up, particularly at night ... a 20mph zone would reduce it from Pierre's to the harbour but that's in the gift of the council/highways obviously....all just small comments for future visitors and nothing to concern us ...we had a great stay!!!

Exceptional view of Torquay. The flat has grand windows, is clean, airy, warm and well equipped. Access to a free laundry room. Visiting seagulls are a pleasure to watch. The owner is in touch, friendly and helpful should you require assistance.

Access to and from town (if walking) might be difficult if you have mobility issues due to steep hills. Soundproofing overhead would be beneficial for total peace of mind ( if possible to remedy) as depending on who might move in above you noise from the adjoining flats could be a problem. Mostly my stay was quiet and peaceful. I slept well in a clean & comfortable bed.

Beautiful apartment. Obviously loved and cared for by the owner. Great view of the bay.
