Blue Chili 14 - Nice Flat Central Wifi in Berlin Lichtenberg

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, U-und S-Bahn Lichtenberg in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Heizung wurde sofort warm, das Wasser auch. Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher,Kühlschrank,Waschmaschine usw., die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Supermarkt nur 2 Block entfernt. Nettes Cafe und Raucherkneipe an der nächsten Ecke.

Dichtere und breitere Vorhänge könnten das Strassenlicht besser bedecken, es ist sehr hell im Schlafzimmer. Parkplatz im Viertel suchen. Die Bettdecke ist nicht warm genug für Personen, die gerne kalt schlafen. Ein paar zusätzliche Wolldecken wären angenehm. Was passiert bei Stromausfall mit dem Türschloss? Eine Badematte und Badeteppich wären ein Plus.

Ist praktisch eingerichtet, gute Lage, gut für Familien machbar für eine Zeit in Berlin. Leuchter Zugang, unkomplizierte Kommunikation und Absprachen.

Die Ausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, etwas instabil, könnte besser in Schuss sein.

The top was the location (which was great and very easy to go everywhere in Berlin by metro, tram, or bus). What's more, the apartment was very spacious, and very clean too. Last, it was among the cheapest options for our travel in Berlin, something very important because we stay there for a week.

There are some things that need improvement, and we felt that the apartment was (in some ways) a work in progress. For example, there were things that need to be fixed, such as the blinds on the windows. When we arrived there they were broken, but we found a way to make them somehow work. It was a big issue, as without them there is a lot of light coming from the street lamps, making it very very difficult to sleep. Even if the blinds are fixed, the upper part of the window is not covered, so, again, there is significant light during the night making sleeping difficult. So, apart from fixing the blinds, it would be nice to add more of them to cover all the windows. Sleeping was somehow an "adventure" in the apartment, and here is why. Every day (except Sunday), between 6:30 and 7:30 in the morning, workers come to take the garbage cans from the back of the building. They are going up and down the stairs, with the garbage cans hitting on the stairs, making a hell of a noise. The house is not well soundproof, meaning that it sounds like someone is inside the house making a lot of noise. As you imagine, every morning we woke up in shock. On Sunday, when there were no workers in the morning, we had a great sleep. And some other, minor things. I am not sure they are obligatory to have, so I am not rating the apartment for the things below: 1. It is the first time we don't find a hairdryer in an apartment on Booking or Airbnb. When we asked the host about it, he said that it was stolen from the previous guests, something that was a little bit awkward. He didn't proceed with replacing it. 2. In the listing, it says that the apartment has an equipped kitchen. There are no basics things, though, such as salt or pepper. So, you have to buy everything if you need to use the kitchen!
