Everything, especially the stunning view from the terrace. Also a good amount of shade when needed.

A longer kitchen worktop would have been good.

The view is spectacular! Gary and his beautiful wife were exceptional hosts. We loved our stay.

Nothing, it was awesome.

Gary Apartments has a terrific location on a clifftop overlooking the sea and with views up towards the castle. Our very spacious apartment had two balconies, one overlooking the street and another looking out to sea. It was spotlessly clean. Granted the shower is old with rusting fittings but, hey, you only shower in it! There is no parking. We had to drive round a couple of times to get a space in the (free) car park at the bottom of the hill (3 minutes' walk) but turnover of day-trippers seems high so patience will win! Best of all, Gary and Anastasia are unbelievably lovely and welcoming! They have no English but it doesn't matter, warmth and hugs said it all! An absolutely delightful stay, totally recommended!

Bugs. Not a fault of the apartment, obviously an Assos thing, but annoying on the balcony in the evening. Not mosquitos, more like Scottish midges i.e. tiny and extremely irritating, but no lasting signs of bites. Terrible internet, in common with the entire island!
