Fantastic apartment for really reasonable price. The hosts are lovely and can’t do enough for you. Amazing views from the balcony.

We LOVED everything !! First, the view from the terrace was absolutely AMAZING !! The best we saw during our stay in any restaurant for instance. We adored taking our breakfast or dinner on the terrace stunned by the view. Then the hosts were extremely kind and helpful and smiling. It was a real pleasure to have met them. We really enjoyed the daily cleaning and the change of the linen and towels every 3 days as well as some other little complimentary items such as water bottles, soap/shampoo, napkins etc. Everything was done by the hosts to make our stay as smooth as possible. The appartement was spacious for 2, very well equipped, my husband counted 4 different types of machines for coffee 🙂. Then the location was simply PERFECT : at the center of Assos, a few minutes walk from its port and beach. The views are fantastic everywhere. We LOVED Assos because so much calmer than the South of Kefalonia for instance. It was our peaceful haven when returned back from our daily visits. When returning back to Kefalonia, we will definitely return back to Gary’s appartment. Every day we repeated what an excellent choice we had made ❤️❤️❤️! It was PERFECT for us !

We LOVED everything but if there were an umbrella with the tool that helps to dig the hole that we could use during the daily trips on the beaches having no sunbeds, it would be a fabulous extra. Just giving the hint, then my note would be 10+++++. 🙂

What a lovely surprise to land in Gary's apartment for our overnight in Asos. Such a charming apartment and warm friendly hosts. It's a real gem. We loved it !

Communication was truly terrible and caused different problems: - I left a card on the reservation- I did the check out, said goodbye and half way to the airport the owner called to say I had to come back and pay in person. This made me lose 30minutes extra on the taxi- which then I had to pay extra to, made me of course arrive late to the airport. Why didn’t they say this when I said goodbye and was leaving? Or during check in? - I wrote about my arrival time about 5 times with zero answer, then tried calling a few times the number on Booking but it’s incorrect. The owner never answered so we showed up and were looking around on how to do the check in. - During check in the man who came had the wrong information and so kept me waiting while he made different calls. I showed him the booking on my phone but he didn’t speak any English and so I waited and waited until it was confirmed. My husband arrived later (speaks Greek) and was able to communicate. - I asked for a taxi contact in advance and they said to wait until check- in. The problem then was that taxis were not available and so had to pay more for a different taxi person to come.
