Spacious and convenient for Assos

It would have been helpful to know the property was called Villa Verde before we arrived & a photo of it ,so we knew what we were looking for without having to call the letting agent twice. Once we had that info it was easy to find.

The location. The quiet street and the view of the sea. Penny was responsive and Raf was great when the AC did not work Hot shower water Clean bathrooms

My expectations were high due to the description and rating of this "villa" and the disappointment was the same. The property was not clean enough, did not have enough very basic kitchenware nor a microwave, the screen door in the bedroom was broken, the noise from upstairs room (within the villa) was loud. Unfortunately I cannot define this a "luxury villa" but it has a lot of potential

Una casa preciosa, con vistas y ubicación excepcionales, las habitaciones dobles amplias y cómodas, una de ellas en suite. La terraza es muy cómoda y espaciosa.

El contacto con anfitrión podría ser mejor. Al llegar tuvimos que reclamar que no había cafetera y nos trajeron una al cabo de 24 hora así que no pudimos tomar café por la mañana. Al día siguiente nos trajeron una cafetera pero no tuvieron el detalle de dejarnos algo de café así que tuvimos que comprar café para solo un día. Faltan utensilios prácticos en la cocina para 6 personas. Falta mantenimiento en algunos detalles de los baños, óxido en estanterías ducha, terraza mal conservada. Cuidado con hormigas y mosquitos.

The villa is in an excellent location, only a couple of minutes walk from the beach and town centre. Parking is right next to the villa. The views were beautiful. Excellent air conditioning to stay cool.

While advertised as 'luxury', this is not a luxury villa and relies on it's location and views. The photos appear to be combination of two villas, as ours had no upstairs as shown in some of the photos and the layout didn't match the photos. Both showers were handheld. Niceties such as a welcome note or bottled water were not provided. The kitchen did not have essentials like salt or oil and there was not enough cutlery or glasses for 5 people. There was one tiny frying pan, so not really set up for group cooking. The grass and garden out the back were overgrown and untidy. Limited shower amenities were provided, but not really sufficient for 5 people. Overall for the relatively high cost, the villa could be better maintained and it would not cost much to provide simple comforts and improvements that you would generally expect.
