Communication Excellent and very prompt communication with the lovely people who run the house. A couple of special requests were immediately complied with, we did have a couple of issues from our end which they were extremely accommodating about. Warm and friendly communication. Very clear information about access, facilities, etc and the number to use in case of need which we didn't use, but it was nice to have. Cleanliness and comfort The house was immaculate and on a chilly November day lovely and cosy when we arrived. Tea and coffee were provided, together with a couple of little treats which were a lovely surprise. Large remote control TVs in dining area, living room and all five bedrooms were a real treat although we didn't have much time to use them! Another nice touch was to find ice cubes in the freezer ready for our use, and some boxed games in the living room. There is a nice patio area outside but the weather was not really conducive for us to use that. Two downstairs bedrooms and three upstairs bedrooms mean this house is versatile for groups of people who may have mobility issues. Two downstairs cloakrooms both with shower were another very good feature. The house felt very welcoming and homely with some nice artwork and decorations around the place. Location We were attending a big function at the National exhibition centre which was only about 20 minutes away by car. Within 10 minutes walk are two good restaurants, a large Marks and Spencers and a huge Morrisons. There is a Toby carvery across the road.

I booked the house for my cousins to stay in from America and they absolutely loved it. It was a last minute booking but they were very impressed the cleanliness. I could contact the host easily and they would answer. The host was more than welcome if I had more guests staying then I booked she told me to inform her and would make it easy for me which was a relief because if I needed to stay with them I could easily contact the host to amend the booking.

Great location and facilities. Very clean. Had Netflix and BT. Good wifi. Very nice kitchen, it was well equipped.

2 rooms smelled very strongly of Marawana, cutlery and dishes was left dirty and dusty, neighbours next door are loud, smaller than the photos suggest and 2 bedrooms are completely separate in a cold corridor behind the kitchen Bedding and rooms were left with hairs and didn’t look clean had to leave a day early due to feeling so uncomfortable and despite making time for the owners to visit twice they offered no refund

we liked the room sizes it was quite spacious but only really works for couples.

The back lights never turned on, we asked about it and they said they were working fine but they never turned on. The heating should of been given better instructions than a YouTube video. When eventually they remotely did it but that could of been done when I had asked first? Also as there was 8 of us they provided 1 towel per bedroom. We had to result to use each others towels.

Lovely house, clean and tidy, newly decorated. Bedrooms were big with lots of space and everything needed for our stay. Good location, easy parking and walking distance to shops (Morrisons and Waitrose) to collect supplies. Hosts were amazing, very helpful and answered all questions very promptly.

Lights came on automatically in lots of areas (kitchen, hallways and bathroom) but very bright and unable to turn them off or down. When you go into each bathroom the lights and fan come on but took ages to turn off and was a bit noisy.

The bedrooms, the kitchen, the garden
