4 bedroom cosy home in solihull

This house needs to be condemned. Wow. I don't even know where to start. It was so nasty. Every surface was dirty, dishes in the sink when we arrived. The towels smelled so bad. We killed probably 20 spiders. I cant even explain how gross the shower was. The host said it was professionally cleaned. No. Then we get to the beds. They were so old and rotted. No padding on them at all. We slept with springs in our backs. There are ceilings tiles hanging down from water damage. The floor had definitely been flooded at some point. Do not stay here.

This property should not be listed for people to pay to stay at. It is terrible. Our Christmas was ruined!- The cooker does not work, it only grills (imagine trying to cook turkey and Xmas dinner!) it also leaked water out when trying to cook somehow - No curtains in the living room, bare windows, which doubles as a bedroom with sofa beds- no curtains! - There is an issue under the bath, after having a shower, water was dripping from the kitchen ceiling onto the floor and then began to leak fairly heavily out of the kitchen LIGHT FITTING onto the dining table! Dangerous! So we could not have a bath or shower again during our 4 day stay as we were too worried about the water and electrics. - draw front has fallen off in kitchen - bathroom seals and grout are dirty and black damp, absolutely filthy. - no basic kitchen amenities such as a tin opener and potato peeler! - Host knew there were 10 of us staying for Xmas, yet there were only 8 dinner plates and 5 mugs! - cigarette burn in the sofa bed - lots of window handles do not close properly - The microwave didn’t even fit the dinner plate in its that tiny - Kitchen floor was dirty I contacted the host regarding each issue and he could not have been LESS helpful!! Lied and said the water leaking out of the kitchen ceiling has never happened before, however, the ceiling had patches of yellow water stains and the wallpaper that has been put on the ceiling to cover it is peeling,it is very clear prior damage.AVOID

We were a group of adults/teens and children visiting Birmingham for a Thai boxing tournament. The house is very clean and spacious, and really nice and warm considering it is single glazing. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger microwave, as the mini microwave only holds small saucers, so for our large group heating up dinner took twice as long- a minor detail. Otherwise we were very happy and comfortable with the stay and would absolutely stay here again if we come to the tournament next year. We had clear entry instructions, and the information sheets were very useful. We had no issues at all. The teenagers were super impressed with the wifi speed too! Thank you for a great stay!
