Apartament Greta

The position is very good as it is central for both Riells beach and the old town of L’Escala. The vista from the balcony is very open as there are no buildings in front of it so there is a clear open view of the sea with the Marina beyond

There was no curtain at the front bedroom window. When we enquired at the office we were assured there was a roller blind but this proved to be the security blind outside the window. This is not acceptable as it could be a safety problem. For the price of the apartment it is not unreasonable to expect a curtain to cover a bedroom window. There was no shower curtain in the full bathroom so the floor became wet with every shower. In the half bathroom the shower was a hand held shower which is not what I would expect. The chairs on the balcony were dangerous because they were made of woven plastic which had become brittle and pieces were breaking off and sticking up so there was a danger of legs being cut or scraped especially when wearing shorts or swimming costumes.There was no sun lounger provided One cupboard door in the kitchen was unsecured. There were no safety instructions or information about emergency numbers to call for help if an ambulance was needed or the fire brigade.
