Chydour

The cottage itself was beautiful and well hidden. It had everything you need for a getaway holiday. Definitely worth a visit to the beautiful city of Penzance.

Finding the cottage was a little hard as there wasnt any clear signposted.

It was cost and well equipped

No room for storing food or access to any outdoor space.

Loved this place, beautiful setting with a river flowing behind. Accommodation was of an excellent standard, large bedrooms and bathroom, well equipped lounge kitchen.

The property is located in quiet area, away from the street, and a half hour walk to the promenade.

At first glance, it seemed clean. Upon entering the property, there was a strong smell of bleach, and the windowless bedroom smelled of dump throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the toilets seat was not clean, and there were remnants of previous guests, as well as hair in the shower. Mould was everywhere in the bathroom. The mattress and pillows were old and dirty, and very worn. Hanging in the wardrobes were old- filled moisture collection bags that hadn't been replaced in months. It was a disgusting sight. The ceiling was very low. People over 170 cm tall would have significant mobility problems. I hit my head and unfortunately injured myself. There is no view of the river, but you can see the feet of people living upstairs using their garden. There is a parking space, but it's for a very small car, and there is no way to turn around.
