Riverside Cabin Near West Jefferson!

Nice and clean cabin with a wonderful view! The host is excellent too!

Nothing at all

The property is beautiful. It has a feeling of calm and comfortable cottage in the county. The cabin landscape was detailed. I loved the birdhouses with moss growing on roof. And the little turtles kind of hidden landscape. This cabin has a feeling of being in a happy place, kindness and caring. The host was very friendly and prompt to respond. The neighborhood is quite and friendly. The river out front was nice. The front porch swing and little table was amazing to just enjoy the solitude you just don’t find in the city. The location was close a park, farmers market kind of thing, little grocery and restaurants. And you could drive to west jefferson to the main strip to enjoy the local tea store, restaurants, stores and cheese factory. The beds and house was very clean and had the basic things one would need. The half bathroom down stairs was a life saver so my momma didn’t need to climb stairs for the restroom. The dark skies make star gazing awesome. But the rain on the roof was so calming too. The climate temp was very comfortable 70s degrees. Windows A/C units are available if you need it. And a fan in the downstairs and upstairs. All the wild life was nice to see such as deer, birds, turkey, cows, horses, a zebra, pigs and a few dogs.

There was nothing not to like. I would recommend the location. I would mention, it was difficult for my elderly momma to climb the stairs. That is clearly stated in the location information on this site. But there are more stairs that someone disable might be able to climb.

River and birds and deer everywhere

Such a cute cabin... it was a perfect place for us. Extremely clean, super comfortable and tucked away along the river.
