This little cabin was perfect for our family needs, spacious enough we could have our own area but comfortable for sitting together and watching tv and spending time together. Thankful there was not a tv in every room!!! and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy creation. The tubes and kayaks provided were very enjoyable to get on the river for hours and fish. The outside shower was perfect for boys. The house was very clean and well stocked with basics and the communication of the owner was great. Checked in on us a couple times to make sure our stay was pleasant. The fire pit was a favorite and got to watch a deer eat and didnt mind to be around people. My favorite spot was the rocking chairs on the porch and played multiple games of checkers and corn hole. Just a perfect getaway weekend to spend a random mini family vacation together at a last minute planning. Thankful this place was available. My children asked of we could book this cabin again. and of coarse we would love too. Thanks for opening your home for visits.we also enjoyed the recommendation to hike at a state park and really enjoyed that. The drive to and from was beautiful and the park itself was great to enjoy hiking and a waterfall. Totally worth the 30 minute drive to get to the state park.

We stayed here over the weekend while in the area for the Grayson Highlands Ultra and had a great experience. Julius was a fantastic host—very attentive, easy to communicate with, and checked in to make sure everything went smoothly. He made us feel welcome right away. The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and having coffee and basic condiments available was a nice touch. The property really offers a little bit of everything—kayaks and tubing for the nearby river, a beautiful fire pit, and a wraparound porch with rockers and a swing. There were also games, a checkers board, and even a hammock for relaxing. If you’re in the odd to grill out, there is also a gas grill available. It’s set off the road, so it’s quiet and peaceful. One of the highlights was enjoying coffee in the morning while watching deer in back. I would definitely recommend staying here—great host, clean and well-stocked home, and plenty of ways to relax and enjoy your time.
