Great location and we went whale watching nearby
Great location
Freezer needs to be defrosted. And previous tenant left a yellow shirt behind in the unit, so not actually cleaned. The Vacasa booking com links were all unsatisfactory and may not visit this property again in the future as the Vacasa/Booking com links and connections are dysfunctional. Even the link to the signing of the rental agreement was a one hour arduous online task. And the first link to writing this review was not working. Sad because this is about my fourth stay at this same property in Depoe Bay. Prior to the Vacasa booking com connection there was no problem.

Will not stay there or recommend to family or friends again!
We have stayed at this property sight many time. This was to celebrate 60 Years of marriage.
Property site had not been cleaned in quite sometime. We have stayed here when it was privately owned and well taken care of. It is not convenient to have coffee pot and filters but NO coffee to wake up to? Refrigerator is about to fall out of cabinet. Went to take a shower, turned on the water, and the shower poured on my head, which there was no way to shut it off to regulate your water temp. The vacation was to bring back memories from past times we have stayed there with family and friends,very disappointed:(

The toilet seat was broken on 1 side and caused a small injury before breaking completely in half. We called Vacasa and asked them to fix it and were led to believe it would be taken care of so we left for several hours. We got back at 9 pm and it was not fixed. Called back again and were told the only way to fix it was to find a hardware store still open, buy the tools and parts ourselves and replace it ourselves and we would be reimbursed for parts. I was with my elderly mother who has to sit on the toilet. We ended up taping it together with large patch bandaids for the remainder of our stay. Also the fire place does not work.
