Hepworth Apartment

Had 3 nights in this beautiful airy, dog friendly apartment in a perfect location with views over St Ives - and would definitely return. All key attractions, such as the Tate, beach, harbour and main centre, are all under 5 mins walk. Several reviews say it’s a long walk back up - but almost everywhere is uphill in St Ives and this apartment is less uphill than most… the equivalent of about 10 flights of stairs. Very comfy bed and slept really well. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We found the apartment and parking fine but only because other reviews had said it was tricky and so we did our homework. The What3Word links in the description did not work. I’d suggest replacing the location of the apartment and parking with google maps, plus a couple of photos to show what renters should look for

We loved everything about the apartment, view was stunning, excellent facilities. Lovely personal touches, flowers, fudge, shopping bag. Very clean and bright.

It was quite hard to find the property, directions weren't very clear. Parking was a bit of an issue. I managed to get in the car park at the top of the road, £29 for the week. Well worth the money. We didn't bother looking for provided space. Not the sort of place to stay if you have mobility issues, the hill to the High St was a killer on the way back up. There was also a young lad continously kicking a ball against the wall in the garden. He was in the apartment above. His parents just let him carry on. Very annoying.

The location was good. A few minutes walk in to town. The views were wonderful with a large, comfortable lounge and kitchen. Lots of little extras as complimentary and fresh flowers were a nice touch. Clean and fresh throughout.

1. Wifi was awful. 2. No black out curtains - blinds were white and a few were tatty and dirty. I do prefer a dark bedroom. 3. Only 1 and a half toilet rolls for 4 days and never found the bin store. Hence my 3 point drop. Just a warning - it's only a quick walk down in to the centre, but is steep on the return if you are disabled or unfit, and parking is about 810 minute walk uphill to the parking area.

Good location good view but don’t expect anything when you book it. For example, there’s no shampoo, shower gel, slippers or any dishwasher tablets. Just prepare to bring or buy everything yourself. I called multiple times of 4 different numbers they offer but still no answer/reply during my five days staying. You neither get any service nor convenience like other airbnb places
