The location was excellent, overlooking the park and a short walk from the old town and from Stanislas Square. The apartment was roomy with two large and comfortable bedrooms. The personal decorations and family-type furniture gave the rooms warmth and individuality. The kitchen and bathroom were both functional and well-equipped.

Very nice appartment

This spacious, first floor apartment is in a good location overlooking the Parc de la Pepiniere and a short walk from the Old Town, lots of lovely restaurants and the stunning Place Stanislas. There are also a good selection of boulangeries within walking distance. Parking is on the street and has to be paid for between 10am and 6pm but at about €5 for the whole day and if you overpay it is carried forward this seems very reasonable.

The whole apartment feels a little tired around the edges and could do with an upgrade. The lighting in the lounge is so poor in the evening it is impossible to read in there. The toilet flush leaked and the shower overflowed due to the plug hole been blocked with hair. A lightbulb in the shower needed replacing. No details how to work the heating which we eventual worked out but realised that the thermostat is being controlled remotely(big brother is watching you) and so no way to increase the room temperature. Not too cold while we were there just a little fresh in the mornings and early evening.
