Delightful Dauphin Island awaits, and this newly renovated second-floor condo is the perfect place to land for your next vacation. Rise and shine in one of the two bedrooms, brew a pot of coffee, and wake up slow on the deck, with a lovely view of the water just beyond the marsh grass. Head inside to whip up breakfast at the well-equipped kitchen, with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, lots of cabinets, and plenty of counter space. Dine together at the table for six or pull up one of the four stools at the breakfast bar to keep it casual.
Visit the complex’s shared pool after breakfast, or explore a little further afield. When you return, cool off in the central AC and grab a spot on one of the couches for a little TV. End the day as you began, out on the balcony, enjoying the view, this time of the night stars over the water.

The condo has plenty of room, a beautiful view from the balcony, and there are at least 5 restaurants within walking distance.

It's a nice property that is true to the listing photos. It was clean on arrival, but not pristine (collections of dust bunnies and tissues under the beds and dressers). We only had 2 hand towels and three washcloths for four people over 5 nights.
Although there are rules for the property, be aware that they are not necessarily enforced. Although this is advertised and posted there as a non-smoking property anywhere on the premises, we had massive amounts of smoke coming under our door (presumably from the foyer). This unit is split into two with a common foyer area. The door doesn't touch the floor so we stuffed a towel in the gap. When I contacted Vacasa the local office said they couldn't help. We have a family member with asthma and another with heart problems so this is a health issue. Since the units can be rented together, I assume the same management team has both. The cleaning crew who came to clean up the adjoining unit is quite loud, starting with an apparent mix-up within the crew that resulted in them repeatedly banging on the foyer door and ringing the bell over and over. Once that was settled, they returned at about 9 that evening and were incredibly loud - remember this is a unit that can be split and the doors don't touch the tile. Usual issues with condos and hotels like normal noise and talking do not bother us and come with the territory, but we did not expect the smoke issues and the insistent banging on the doors from the cleaning crew during our stay. Just things to know before you go. It's a shame that management issues cloud an otherwise nice property.
