Vina's Stone House

Location and cleanliness.

The stone house was full of character, very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The sea views were stunning, the location in the heart of Limeni was peaceful, and it made the perfect getaway. (Thank you Mrs Vina!)

There are not many shops around Limeni, so it’s best to come prepared, but that didn’t take away from the stay. The house itself was perfect and the host was amazing, even welcoming us with snacks and a bottle of water.

Amazing location in the heart of Limeni. Lovely stone house with comfortable beds. Self checkin process was very easy and Vina was incredibly helpful and accomodating.

Nothing, all was great.

Limeni is a tiny picturesque little Mani hamlet. The outside of the house looks nice although you only get the left half of the building, so you only get a miniscule little balcony upstairs with two little folding chairs to sit out the front. The photos on FB give the wrong impression therefore. Bathroom and toilet were clean and modern.

We were very disappointed with the house. The living area only has one tiny window so you can hardly look out and it is very dark and bland. We kept the front door open for some light but you get lots of cars driving right past your door. Uncomfortable sofa. Very basic kitchen unit. We noticed a sewage smell coming up from the basement. There is a small courtyard at the back if you go upstairs with an uncomfortable lounge set and a tiny bit of sea view if you go right in the corner. Narrow beds, only one blanket for 2 bedrooms, main road passes right along the back so quite a lot of traffic noise. After 3 weeks touring the Pelopponesos this was our most expensive and only really disappointing accommodation.
