Vina's Stone House

Vina’s Stone House is a wonderful, fully equipped house with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room & a fully equipted kitchen . The location in beautiful Limeni is unique, with a magnificent view and easy access to the crystal clear waters. Vina, the owner, a warm and truly hospitable person, gave us many useful tips about the area, answered every question promptly and seemed to really care about our comfort. The house is beautiful, stone-built, clean, comfortable and meticulously maintained to the last detail. We didn’t miss anything, from a delicious welcome treat with handmade cookies, coffee capsules, jams & a bottle of water to mosquito repellents and fragrant detergent & fabric softener to wash our clothes in the washing machine. There is parking right outside which is a priceless value for Limeni. The tranquility, the aesthetics of the space and the impeccable service made our stay unforgettable. It is definitely a place we will visit again and we will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the magic of Mani.

There was no place for rubbish in Limeni.

Very good location in the Main Street. Close to the sea and restaurants. The house was very clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable with lovely veiws over the bay We didn’t meet Vina but she communicated with us before and during the two night stay with information on entry to the building and to check that everything was ok. We loved our stay there and would definately go back

Location and cleanliness.

Limeni is a tiny picturesque little Mani hamlet. The outside of the house looks nice although you only get the left half of the building, so you only get a miniscule little balcony upstairs with two little folding chairs to sit out the front. The photos on FB give the wrong impression therefore. Bathroom and toilet were clean and modern.

We were very disappointed with the house. The living area only has one tiny window so you can hardly look out and it is very dark and bland. We kept the front door open for some light but you get lots of cars driving right past your door. Uncomfortable sofa. Very basic kitchen unit. We noticed a sewage smell coming up from the basement. There is a small courtyard at the back if you go upstairs with an uncomfortable lounge set and a tiny bit of sea view if you go right in the corner. Narrow beds, only one blanket for 2 bedrooms, main road passes right along the back so quite a lot of traffic noise. After 3 weeks touring the Pelopponesos this was our most expensive and only really disappointing accommodation.
