Relaxing break away in a lovely location

The gite is spacious and very tastefully decorated, the kitchen has everything you could possible need (except an oven) and then some. The beds are very comfy and the shutters allow for a good night sleep undisturbed by the morning sun. It’s a very peaceful gite with lovely grounds peppered with tables and chairs for everyone to enjoy. The big draw for us was the swimming pool and it was great, perfect temperate with lots of Sun loungers and chairs. There is also the mill wheel to see inside the main house and Alexandra is able to share a little of the history.

Lovely comfortable Gité with warm welcome.

Lovely quiet and peaceful location beside the River Cher. Enjoyed a wonderful walk along the river to Chateau Chenonceau. Isabelle and Terry gave us a warm and friendly welcome and were very helpful. Gité comfortable, cosy and warm. Well equipped with all amenities necessary for an easy holiday. Close to Saint Georges-Sur-Cher with restaurant, cafe, supermarket and bakery. We walked to the restaurant, superb meal. Private parking. Highly recommend a stay here.

Cosy cottage

We received a warm welcome from Isobelle and her husband which included a delicious cake which lasted all week. The swimming pool was heated and perfect for unwinding at the end of a day’s sightseeing.

Séjour très reposant au bord du Cher

L'emplacement à quelques minutes de St Georges et de Montrichard, les montgolfières dans le ciel, la gentillesse de nos hôtes et bien sûr la piscine, indispensable en cette fin juin.

Tout était parfait ! N'hésitez pas à demander un ventilateur pour aider à faire des courants d'air dans le gîte quand la température baisse.

Un séjour parfait en famille!

Tout! L’établissement d’Alexandra est un havre de paix avec son grand parc arboré et fleuri! Le gîte est très fonctionnel parfait pour un couple et deux jeunes enfants comme nous avec la chambre parentale éloignée de celle des petits :) Les hôtes sont au petit soin et font tout pour que le séjour se déroule au mieux, on a même eu le droit à de fabuleux cookies maison à notre arrivée, au plus grand plaisir de mes filles!
