We had a lovely 4 days at this peaceful spot. The accommodation was just as described, the hosts were very welcoming and the pool was great after days spent visiting nearby chateaux. Highly recommend

We stayed three nights. The family run thé gîte and give you privacy and a gorgeous backyard to use. The pool is wonderful. The suite is eclectic and has everything you need. The house is stone so it is damp but the bedding is cozy and clothes after swimming or washing can dry outside in warm weather. We loved the family dog. He’s so friendly and adorable. We went for a walk in the town and it’s lovely.

Beautiful petite village location

We are so happy we chose Chissay-en-Touraine for our visit to the Loire Valley. It feels wonderfully away from tourists and local traffic, yet its central location is close to the best-to-see chateaus. We absolutely loved our hosts generous offer to use their very fine bikes and we were out and riding 3 different circuits of up to 19 miles through the countryside on dedicated roads and paths. The hosts, their daughter, and very playful dog gave us information, privacy and everything we needed to make our stay one of the best we’ve ever had.

A great location for touring all the Loire has to offer. Comfortable, with all the amenities. My teenage boys loved the ping pong table! No AC but a fan was provided which kept it very comfortable in the hot summer. Geraldine and her family are kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Their dog is adorable. We would definitely return to stay! Thank you.

Just 15 minutes from Amboise and about 10 minutes from castle Chenonceau, this location is situated not far from the banks of the lovely Cher River. You can walk to the river or to Chissay castle, hosting a hotel today. We were able to use the host's bikes to go to castle Chenonceau which is one of the nicest Loire Castles (with the bike about half an hour). Also the canoe trip (Base in Civray, just 15 minutes away) was very nice. Although the kitchen is lacking the one or the other little item, the location is really worth a visit if you want to see the Lore and Cher Valleys with their castles. And the hosts have decorated the location with love for detail as the pictures might already tell you.

The place was beautifully decorated with all new appliances, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The bed was comfortable and we were able to get a good night's rest in a quiet countryside setting at the edge of the village of Chissay-en-Touraine, only a short distance from Chenonceau Chateau. The owners are a wonderful, friendly couple, available next door if needed.

Logement propre et très bien équipé. Malheureusement la météo folle que l'on a connu (canicule) a rendu les nuits étouffantes dans la chambre sous les toits. La solution a été de dormir dans le clic-clac du salon où il faisait bon voire frais. Cependant ce dernier est petit et pas aussi confortable que le lit de la chambre. Grand Grand plus, pour la piscine qui jouxte le logement et permet de faire quelques brasses pour se rafraîchir. Bassin tout neuf et l'accès y était à volonté. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants, mais notre planning serré du we a limité nos échanges (départ tôt et retour tard + une météo capricieuse). Geraldine et Jerôme nous donné des informations pertinentes et précises sur les lieux que nous nous apprêtions à visiter ( zoo de Beauval + Chenonceau et Chambord). Merci encore pour ce séjour bref mais néanmoins dense.

Propriétaires sympathiques. Logement conforme aux photos. Propreté impeccable des lieux, de la literie, du linge de lit. Tout est parfait pour passer un bon séjour au calme. J'adore la déco 😊 Je conseille plutôt pour 3 adultes maxi ou pour couple et 2 enfants car le 2ème couchage est un clic clac (très confortable). Zoo de Beauval à 25 kms, Château de Chenonceau (à voir) à proximité. Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil chaleureux.

Gite sympa mais pas fait pour les grands et personnes fortes. je m'explique la mezzanine qui sert de chambre est sous la pente de toit donc on a tendance à se cogner et pour la salle de bain je mesure 1,83m pour 110kg et la douche et 1/4 de rond pour une base de 63cm, ce qui fait que pour une personne comme moi je suis plus qu'à l’étroit. Sinon pour le reste çà peut aller

Location très agréable, et très joliment décorée. A proximité du château de Chenonceau, Cheverny et du Zoo Parc de Beauval. Tout près du cours d'eau Le Cher pour faire de jolie balade en vélo. Un super endroit à 25min du zoo de Beauval. Nous avions tout à côté (super U, station essence etc...) Les hôtes sont très sympathique et chaleureux nous avait recommandé une ptite plage le long du cher à 5min de la maison. Nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Nous avons passé un super week-end dans cette location correspondant tout à fait à l'annonce...c'est une charmante petite location pour une petite famille comme la notre à proximité des merveilles de la Touraine...les hôtes sont vraiment très gentil, nous avons passé un bon momen avec eux, ils sont de très bon conseil pour visiter les environs. Merci à eux et surtout n'hésitez pas si vous voulez rofiter d'un endroit calme et proche de tous les endroits à visiter.

Nous avons séjourné pour le week-end d’ascension, l’accueil et la gentillesse de nos hôtes nous a fait du bien après ce long confinement c’était notre 1er voyage. L’appartement est bien agencé, joliment décoré et nous avons trouvé qu’est c’était simplement parfait : un grand merci aussi pour les vélos. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !!!
