About this apartment rental

Ideally located at the corner of Saint Urbain and Rachel, main entrance of Parc Jeanne Mance and Parc Mont Royal, the heart of the Plateau Mont Royal, one of the most fashionable neighborhoods in North America. Close to pubs, cafes, shops and a laissez-faire ambiance, we offer magnificent large and open areas over two floors totaling 1,600 ft² plus a South-West facing garden of 600 ft².

This building is Green in many ways -- next to the best biking and hiking trails that Montreal can offer, walking distance from commercial areas, easy access to public transportation, etc. It was also renovated to the highest existing sustainability standards by leading specialists from ABOVE Technologies inc. including:

- full-capacity geothermal heating and cooling saving -75% on heating and -25% on cooling ;

Without exception, guests found abusing this policy will be responsible for a fine of up to $1,000, plus all extra cleaning costs, and the reservation will be immediately canceled without refund.

Place was amazing check in was easy as well as our stay. Listing was accurate and host was amazing with communication from booking to check out. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one for our family.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment during our visit to Montreal. We didn’t rent a car and found taking the bus from the airport easy (Google Maps helped), and we were glad we didn’t Uber, because the line was long. A bus stop right outside the apartment gets you to Old Town/Chinatown in 10 minutes. We rarely waited more than 5 minutes.The apartment was very clean and near several dine-in/takeout spots. A grocery store and the lively, pedestrian-only Ave Mont-Royal are within walking distance, along with Mount Royal Park, which has steep trails and scenic views. A new pool and splash park were under construction (July 2025).A few tips:To unlock the door, don’t lightly touch the display—use your palm.The main shower only gets hot when the handle is centered.The AC ran constantly even when the thermostat next to the fridge said it was off. We emailed and messaged the property manager several times. Ultimately, we were allowed to shut it off at the fuse box and used it only at night.There’s some noise from the upstairs unit and the street-facing bedroom—earplugs helped.Trash goes in black opaque bags; recycling in transparent ones. Bins are out front, pickup is Monday.

We were forced to book two hotel rooms on our first night because the host never communicated when the property was ready.Our luggage was stored at a location that closed at 5 PM. The host promised to call when housekeepers finished, but despite our multiple calls and messages asking for an update, we received no response. We had to make a decision before 5 PM or we would have been left with nowhere to store our suitcases. The host only responded after the checkin time, when we had already checked into the hotel. This complete failure to communicate cost us over 900 CAD in hotel rooms and extra transportation.Additionally, the washing machine contained blue ink residue that stained a lot of our clothes. Also the "third bathroom" is a shower in the corner of the bedroom.Lastly, we had quite a bit of issues keeping the place warm. Someone must have added scheduled temperature changes that the host was unaware of
