We came for a wedding in the area and were just looking for an overnight stay. Very friendly hosting. We had a small issue with Booking as the ages of the kids was not recorded, hence the price was significantly higher than as per booking. But since the reason was rational, we did not argue.

Place is rather off the "beaten track" in Lombardy. If you want to use it as a base to visit Milan, count at least an hour and don't even think of public transport.

The nice sized rooms were clean and well-furnished with pretty wood furniture and floors. Parking was available, which was nice. Staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. The kids loved the cozy loft area except that it was so hot. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short because of the heat in the rooms during the record-breaking heat wave, and the owner (?) was extremely kind and helped us to change our booking so that we only had to stay two more nights rather than the 10 planned, which was very appreciated. It is in a quiet residential area.

Our family of six had two rooms and stayed for five nights. The rooms had no air conditioning and refrigerators while on, didn't create any cold and our drinks were room temperature. Milk for our children had to be thrown away. The rooms were so incredibly hot and it didn't cool down in the evenings (32C+ at night on the thermostats on the wall) so opening windows did not help at all. We showered several times and I kept wiping down my children with damp towels and had the fan on to create some cool. The weather of course is not the fault of the hotel (although I would argue that anyone staying at a hotel in northern Sweden where it is -20C would have right to complain if there were no heating). I did have a slight complaint about the description of it being a "farm stay". My impression from that was that it would be a farmhouse on a farm (ie surrounded by farmland). Instead it was a large brick building with farm equipment in the garage below, but it was from what we saw completely surrounded by residential properties; we never saw any farm in the area. I should have checked the area prior on google maps but honestly didn't even think of it. We will in the future. It is possible that it was within walking distance, giving the benefit of the doubt, but as the heat was so overwhelming, we never got the chance. But still, it did not feel like the building was in a "natural" or "farm" area as described.
