The Kemah house is not on the water but you can see the water when your relaxing on the deck. Walk across the street to the Bel Road Park and see a full view of the Galveston Bay and the Lights from Downtown Kemah. We are on the water side of 146 that means easy access to the Kemah Boardwalk Restaurant’s, Entertainment and Night Life. All the fun is up Kipp Ave ½ mile away. You are just far enough away that you can't hear the roller-coaster noise coming from the Kemah Boardwalk.
The house is fully furnished with everything you need for a week-end get away including Internet/ WIFI. The garage is very spacious and a Large driveway for your Boat or Motor home. No Saturday or holiday check in or check out.

Check in was very simple. Annette knew we would be arriving after dark so she was so thoughtful to leave outside lights on for us as well and inside lights too. Annette was very quick to answer answer that I had. The house was very clean as others had stated. The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors we all so friendly. The only thing I could suggest is to put a queen bed in the master bedroom so my husband and myself could have slept together. My husband slept in the twin bed in the master bedroom and I slept in the full size bed with our dog in another bedroom. The house is so quiet and I slept so good every night . Well, most likely stay here again when we're in the area.

Lovely house near the bay (across the street) in a quiet residential neighborhood. Quiet neighbors and low traffic road made for a pleasant time on the porch and nice walks in the morning. We were here for the week while our teens went to a NASA camp and it was perfect (just 15 min away.) The boardwalk is close (1 mile) if that is your thing. Be sure to check the bed configuration to make sure that it works for your group ; it was more than enough room for us and we would return in a heartbeat! The owner checked in on us and was great! *tip: Try the Pier 6 restaurant in San Leon (about 15 min away)—great views/food.

I believe this was our 4th time to stay here. We could not ask for a nicer place to stay.... Annette is always a most gracious host. The location is fantastic, the house is always spotless, and is just our home away from home.

The house was perfect for our stay, the only thing i would suggest is to add a queen size bed to the master for adult couples. We ended up pushing the two twins together. The golf cart was an added bonus, we used it to go to the boardwalk for dinner and fun almost every night. Annette was inviting and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Would highly recommend.

The golf cart was easy to use for the short drive down to the boardwalk. We look foward to using this property again when we find ourselves in Kemah again. This beach house was nestled in such a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and was ideal for my husband, me and our three teenagers. A view of the water made it so relaxing and the natural light that flooded the house was perfect! Our girls enjoyed the quick golf cart ride to the boardwalk each night. Having a golf cart at your disposal was definitely a perk we were delighted with, along with unexpected treats, drinks and wine in the refrigerator for us! House was spotless, check in and clean up was the easiest I have ever had with a VRBO rental, and Annette was available immediately for anything we needed. Price was definitely lower than I would have expected for such a location, too. Only a 15 minute drive to NASA, plenty of shopping, and plenty of great restaurants nearby. Would definitely choose this spot again! VRBO rental

We enjoyed our trip to Kemah and Annette's home was the perfect getaway to stay and in a quiet area of the boardwalk area. We walked to bars and restaurants as the weather was perfect and places easy to get to.Marina's are also close to the home and, having the golf cart to cruise around town was fantastic during the day. We will definitely come back in the future.

Second time staying in the past five months. We traveled from Kentucky to visit family in League City. This is an excellent place to stay. Home is exactly as pictured and neighborhood is quiet and close to everything we needed. Annette is wonderful to talk to and while we had NO issues, she checked in with us to ensure all was good. First off, Annette is an amazing host, very communicative in case you need anything during your stay and has awesome recommendations.The location is amazing and you can see the ocean from the balcony. The home is well equipped with pots and pans. The home was very clean upon my arrival and it felt like I was at the comfort of my own home. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Texas.

This has been one of my favorite places to stay. The house is located minutes from the boardwalk. I probably could have walked there if I was up for a nice stroll. There is a partial view of the bay. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The house was immaculately clean and decorated with wonderful artwork. The golf cart provided was super fun. Being able to park my car in the garage was a huge plus not offered by any VRBOs I've stayed at in the past. I don't think I have ever had a VRBO host as attentive and nice as Annette. She is an incredibly nice person and extremely helpful in giving tips on the best places to go for food and entertainment. I have a very short list of favorite VRBOs that I immediately go to first when I plan a getaway. I have to add this one to the list.

The Kemah house was everything we hoped it would be and more. I was receiving daily treatments at MD Anderson in League City and the peace and calm of this neighborhood afforded me time to relax. It was also large enough to accommodate family that traveled in to stay with us. Annette is a wonderful host and took care of an A/C problem right away!! Husband and I spent the month of Feb in Kemah to be close to family who live in League City. We brought our dog as well and the fenced in yard and walkability of the area were huge advantages. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and peeks of Galveston Bay are possible from the front deck. Annette the owner is so very kind and excellent with communication and response times. She provided coffee, tea, and many other items for the stay. The home was clean and neat; the only thing we noticed was that the floors could probably use a deep steam clean. We also would have preferred a queen/king bed for the main sleeping area but definitely had no problem sleeping. We also missed not having an outdoor grill but Annette explained her concerns regarding this. We will definitely stay here again when we return for our next extended stay. Just close enough to the Boardwalk. Highly recommend.

Me and my friend came to visit our buddy in residency and this house was great. It’s right down the street from the beach, good food and rides. The property owner has the fridge set up with some snacks and drinks. House is very clean and organized. She was very responsive via text and made the stay and departure easy. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is just minutes to the Kemah Boardwalk and other local attractions. The home is maintained very well, and we found it to be spacious and comfortable. Our host, Annette, was very nice and accommodating. The area and surroundings were very pleasant and beautiful. It was great to be able to stare at parts of the ocean from the home's porch and living room. We enjoyed our time so much, that we wish to stay at this property again in the future.
