Location, clean, cosy cottage, two toilets!

No privacy in main bedroom. Overlooking neighbours garden and patio. Kept curtains shut all day. Door sticking on same bedroom.

look the place was ok. it was a little bit out of town but no problem. parking at the time of year we went was a little hit and miss due to other visitors taking up the on road parking. facilities were fine but for the first 36 hours we were there there was an awful smell downstairs in the sitting room. couldn't fathom it out initially and my wife spoke to the owner about it who mentioned a recent similar problem whereby the property was not used for a short time. eventually we discovered the source of the problem which was so bad that it got into our throats!!!! that problem was none other than a scent diffuser located on the table below the small book case. it was put outside and no problem thereafter. i would say that the front of the porperty could do with a clean ie removing all the built up leaves and the small table and chairs given a clean. we didn't use them but first impressions ..... . also similarly the back although not used by us, i think it was locked anyway, was similarly full of leaves and could have been cleared. there was a single ladder also located here and it was angled right across the kitchen window. this should have been removed from the property. all small things really as the rest of the property was fine but very easy solvable.
