Flèria Seaview Suites

The place was so cool looking and great location to Naxos town. Easy walking to everything in town. Sometimes we were able to find parking on the street, but the public parking was a short walk away. Small grocery and laundry service were very close by. Balcony had a great view of sunset each night and a lovely spot to enjoy our coffee in the morning.

Modern hotel like room

Booking.com description is not accurate. There is not a seperate living area from the bedroom and there is not 2 beds. The lounge is more of a concrete bench with a cushion on top. It was comfortable and the pictures do show exactly what you get.

Great place to stay. Close to the port and the town of Chora. Everything was spotless. A bottle of water was available, complimentary. We also received welcome bottle of wine. Dimitris and his family are very welcoming and the communication was first class. I would highly recommend Flèria for your next stay in Naxos.

I liked the location. It was very convenient to the ferry, waterfront eating and shopping, as well as all of the shopping and wonderful restaurants throughout the narrow alleys of town. Our room was comfortable and a good size. The bed was comfortable and there was an ample deck. Dimitri, the owner, was very responsive to us and met us opposite the ferry and helped bring our luggage to the hotel. There isn't a lift, so he helped our friends carry their bags up to the second floor while my husband and I carried ours up. The bathroom is small with one sink, but it is in excellent condition - updated - and right outside the bathroom was a large mirror with a shelf below it, so my husband and I were able to make the smaller than we are used to quarters work for us. I am giving the hotel a 8 despite being unhappy with my room because other than the owner not being helpful with that, he was extremely responsive before we arrived and very accommodating with extending our check out and calling a taxi to take us to the airport.

While the location is excellent in terms of being within very easy walking distance of the ferry, harbor and all of the shopping and dining options, it is also an 'in town' location meaning it is in the middle of other buildings and residences in various states of repair and disrepair. The building directly across from the hotel was in an extreme state of disrepair and partially boarded up. The other building across from it was a personal residence and it was painted a lovely yellow with white trim with flowers in the courtyard. Be prepared for the incongruity of the buildings and the ambiance of the area. You are in town - not at a resort location. I also did not like that I chose a Superior Room based on the photos provided by the establishment and expected at least a reasonably unobstructed sea view. What we got, instead, was a between-the-buildings sea view from our balcony, and the only way to see the water was to sit in one particular chair on the balcony or stand at the wall that separated our suite's balcony from the lesser expensive junior suite's balcony next door. However, when you do this, if the junior suite's occupants are on their balcony, you will be looking over them to see the water. Consequently, the lesser expensive junior suite had a better sea view. I feel like the advertising of the rooms/views were misleading. For a Superior or Deluxe room, the photos show a sea/ocean from the room and the balcony (Deluxe) or from the balcony. I suppose there are Superior rooms like that there, but when I complained and asked for a room that looked like what was advertised, I was told there wasn't anything available. If you are going to book there, be very specific with the owner as to exactly what your expectations are regarding room you will be getting for what you are paying. Lastly, there isn't a lift, so if you are unable to climb a winding set of stairs, be sure to request a ground level unit.
