About this house rental
Five bedroom, three bath home in a secluded setting. Set back from a side road on a long winding driveway this newly renovated home is a great find for a large family or 2 or 3 couples traveling together. Located just off of Hadley Point Road, less than a ½ mile from Hadley Point Beach. This beach is a local favorite and not well known to the general public. A great place to beach comb, have a barbecue or launch your boat off the public ramp. This nice home is close to everything Bar Harbor and Acadia have to offer. Downtown Bar Harbor and the entrance to Acadia are a short 7 to 10 min drive away.
Bar Harbor has many shops and restaurants to fancy every taste. Don’t forget to have a Maine lobster dinner while you are here! Acadia with its 50 miles of carriage trails and many miles of hiking trails is one of the nicest National Parks in the country. The scenery and views are truly outstanding and will give you many hours of enjoyment.
After your day of hiking come back home to enjoy the comfortable lodging Bar Harbor Serenity has to offer. Lovely home with plenty of space for 11 people. Well stocked kitchen that even had some spices for cooking in the pantry. Peaceful setting just a short drive to Bar Harbor. Nearby beach that we could watch lobster fisherman as they left to haul in their catch for the day. Host was quick to respond to questions. Comfortable mattresses to sleep on however, could use some new beds. They creaked every time you rolled over. Overall, we would stay here again and would highly recommend this lovely home away from home.

Great location- 2 miles from Acadia entrance and 5 miles from Bar Harbor. House was clean, nicely furnished and well-appointed with everything we needed.

We had a good stay at this property. House was generally clean but in need of updates and TLC. New mattresses would be good. Property is definitely off the beaten path which was a little hard to find after dark when we arrived. We did see deer eating apples from the tree each morning which was great. We also enjoyed using the fire pit one evening. Property is a decent location to Acadia and Bar Harbor if you don’t mind driving off the main road a bit. With a party of 3 couples wanting 3 bedrooms (with queen or king beds) and 3 bathrooms, this property is unique. However, one bathroom is downstairs and the only bedroom/room downstairs has 2 twins. Some of these details weren’t readily available in the description. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and roasting hotdogs outside and there was enough firewood available for one use. Maine in October is a great time to visit!
