This gem of a retreat is a brand new constructed home, using reclaimed, locally sourced wood from our Creek Fire. It's truly a carpenter's dream. All master crafted! Whether you have come to get some quality time with loved ones or spend full days on the lake, this location is convenient to town while still being perfectly tucked away. Regardless of how you choose to use each dreamy day, there will be no need to worry about dining out each night, as the gourmet kitchen at home base boasts a duel fuel top-of-the-line gourmet oven, beautiful countertops, a deep farmhouse sink, and a breakfast bar seating to keep the chef of the group company. The adjacent living area will be just the place to cill out each night featuring a comfy sofa and a mounted flatscreen TV. Plus, the wraparound deck can be the hub for sipping that evening cocktail as the sun dips behind the trees!

This Vacasa Guestworks vacation rental is operated and managed locally by an independent host. Prior to your arrival, you will receive local host contact information, who will manage your guest reservation. Your local host will provide in-stay support, secure entry, and arrange pre- and post-stay housekeeping services. Very clean in the perfect location!! Everything has been updated. Only recommendations would be - window coverings in bedrooms, instructions for TV/remotes, and a new coffee maker.

Great location!! Walking distance to the heart of Shaver. We loved our stay in Bigfoot’s Hideout!!! Very comfortable and had everything we needed! We will come back for sure.

The stairs and entrance up to the front porch were buried in snow. It was very slippery and dangerous. The shovel at the property was plastic and it was broke. We had to buy a $56.00 shovel and the kids had to shovel the stairway as best as they could. I fell twice. It was a nightmare. I called Vacasa numerous times and when I did reach someone she just documented everything.
The closet upstairs that has the extra blankets was so messy and the blankets were just thrown in not folded or organized. The cabin itself was cozy and spacious for our group of 6. I paid $48 for a late check out and I feel I need to be credited that about for the snow issues and my 2 falls because of the snowy walkway. Housekeeping needs to monitored a little better as well. Sorry for this review. As a paying customer I expect better treatment. Thank you.
