Astiti is a great host

I arrived in Ubud earlier than my friends, so I needed to stay one night in some place. That place was a Astiti Guest House. Good place for good price. Warm shower, comfy bed, good location. I slept like a baby. On the next day I asked for massage in the morning, and it was the best experience I have ever had for the last few years! Breakfast is nice, I had fruits, toasts and tea. Also, host treated me some Indonesian food – fried tofu. She is a wonderful woman and lovely person. I definitely come back for massage, and maybe some fried tofu!)))

If be honest, in the evening I was so tired, and in the morning I was so relaxed after massage, that I can remember anything.

Great value for money. The room was clean and the I enjoyed it for a night. Th location is so good because you have everything around you. The bathroom was good with a great hot shower.

When I wanted to check in I had to look for who's available/working there. My room was on the street and therefore a bit noisy, but honestly Im not complaining for the price I paid!

- WiFi worked so so - the water leaked out of the bathroom causing the floor in de bedroom to be wet. (luckily the bedroom is very big so you could still step around it haha)

Kinda disappointing.

The family was generally friendly, breakfast was good but small. The bed is pretty comfy.

The booking page wasn't clear. I chose a room with a fan over the room where a fan wasn't mentioned because I can't sleep in the heat. Turns out it means you get only a fan and AC is an extra 100k rupia a night. Also, both the hot water and the wifi were not working the entire time we were staying there (3 nights). Wifi was sporadically available downstairs in the seating area but *never* in our room. I've also heard from other reviews that their tour tickets are duds. The tickets they offer to Gili are way more expensive than other places nearby. When I asked about fixing the wifi, and tried to explain how to fix it the owner just turned the router on and off again which did nothing to help. I wouldn't mind if this was a local issue, but it seemed we were in the only place in Ubud where wifi was am issue. Overall, if you are looking for somewhere cheap, dont mind a lack of AC, hot water and wifi then this is the place for you. But I feel like there are MUCH better places for you to stay.
