Welcome to the Saint John Inn! This newly remodeled home is in the Historic District of Downtown Lafayette, LA. Located directly across the street from Johnson's Boucaniere and mere steps from the historic St. John Cathedral, the Saint John Inn is within walking distance to all Downtown has to offer!
This beautifully furnished historic home features 5 Bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The downstairs space features a large open living area with a smart TV, a dining room (complete with a beautiful John James Audobon accent wall) that opens to the well appointed and fully stocked kitchen. The master bedroom and its massive en suite bathroom with a claw foot tub is the perfect place to relax and the additional downstairs bedroom featuring a twin daybed and twin trundle doubles as the perfect place to work (although we hope you don't have to!) The upstairs space features a large additional living area complete with Smart TV, three additional bedrooms and a large full bathroom. Outside, the large front porch is an ideal space to rock or swing the day away while sipping a cold beverage and taking it all in, and the huge rear deck is the perfect place to grill, relax and entertain! The home has some smart features as well! Enjoy Alexa, as well as surround sound entertainment with Sonos. All TV’s are smart and equipped with streaming services as well as digital cable so you never miss a game! Free high speed WiFi is also provided. This home has been updated with every modern convenience while maintaining the charm of its original design and layout. Events Policy:
NO Events of more than 10 guests are allowed without approval by management. We do allow larger events at the Saint John Inn. However, we do charge additional event fees for any events that exceed our maximum guest limit of 10 guests. These events must be scheduled and coordinated in advance with management. All events are to end or move inside by 10pm with respect to our Quiet Hours Policy.

This is a return stay for our family, 2024 Mardi Gras now Wedding/Christmas Celebration. The Saint John Inn is very walkable to Downtown, Johnson’s Boucaniere across the street and Bon Vie for desserts make this location perfect,

The details for check in were not provided until after 10 am day of our check in. They were accurate.
However, when we arrived at the property for a family wedding, we could not find a simple kitchen item. It was clear that at one point the property had one, however, I was concerned that may be a theft had occurred from the property. I notified the property manager at the same time we had suspicions. The property manager never returned my call.
After we left the property I noticed that a family member had lost an earring. So we sent the property manager an email concerning it, and to date, we have received no response.
Overall, I sent three emails to the property manager and left one voicemail and none were responded to any.
