Villino Flavia is located in the area between Palermo and Cefalù on a green hill on the beautiful promontory which also hosts the archaeological park of Monte Catalfano, the archaeological park of Soluntum, prestigious Phoenician and Roman-Greek city, and which ends in the sea with the underwater archaeological park of Formica. Thanks to its strategic geographic location, in half an hour by car you can reach Palermo with its important monuments, museums and theaters, as well as Monreale, home to one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world and the beaches of Mondello. The villa was built in the early 1900s by Domenico Paladino, grandson of the builders of the many noble palaces in Palermo, is composed of a main building with an imposing tower and two detached buildings where there are five suites all equipped with Wi-Fi Internet connection, central heating and each with access to a loggia equipped for outdoor dining. The property offers splendid panoramic views overlooking the surrounding countryside and the sea, and has a swimming pool shaped like a natural pond (surface of 45 m2, max. depth of 1.5 m) (01/05-15/10) set inside a fenced-in garden. Upon request, a washing machine in the detached room (8 euro /wash load) and the microwave. Parking in the property. We enjoyed our stay in Villa Paladino Solunto. Marida and her husband were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. It was perfect for our large group of 15 people, as we each had our own private space when needed. I would love to return to Santa Flavia in the future. The only reason we gave a 9/10 on the bedrooms is not all bedrooms had air-conditioning. If A/C was available in all bedrooms, that would be perfect!
