Summerwoods is a gated community with each guest having their own driveway to park one car. This ground-floor townhouse has all new furniture and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The fully-equipped kitchen also boasts a Keurig coffee maker and a toaster oven/convection oven. The back screened-in concrete porch has a bistro table with two chairs. The guest bedroom is towards the front of the townhome and has one full over full bunk bed and twin trundle. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower next door to the guest bedroom, not connected. The primary bedroom is towards the back of the townhome (off of the living room) and has one queen size bed with a large primary bathroom attached. The main bath has a step-down walk-in shower.
Things to Know
There is a short 0.4-mile walk on pathway to get to the beach.
There are two beach chairs and one beach umbrella with a sand base screw available
There is an active surveillance camera on site.
There is a Blu-Ray/DVD player in the living room (and Amazon Prime movies)
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
Security camera details: There is an active surveillance camera on site.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This is a beautiful, luxurious apartment. Tons of space, very nicely decorated. All of the rooms are big. The extra tall doors are very cool. The location is great! We loved the shady path to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It is furnished with every amenity needed for a perfect getaway with kids. Driving to the property under a canopy of Spanish moss was so lovely, and it was easy to find the property. Upon entering, we were immediately impressed by the spotless, tastefully decorated home. Our kids were so excited about the bunk beds! It was wonderful to have a full and thoughtfully appointed kitchen for meals and groceries (or, if you ask my kids, ice cream and popsicle storage!) We all slept comfortably. When we had a minor issue with the TV (which in retrospect was probably my fault) the staff were immediately in action to remedy it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to fellow travelers! It was a wonderful and restful home base for our adventures around Amelia Island.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The rental is clean and pretty. However, there are a few things that will prevent us from staying there again. The master bed was more uncomfortable than any place we have ever stayed and the pillows were paper thin. The water smelled so badly of sulfur our first couple days that we could not drink the water or brush our teeth with it either. Also, while the place and furnishings are beautiful, the kitchen ware is extremely limited and not decent quality.
