My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stay in this Kitsilano apartment. While small and cozy it had everything we needed-- it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Sid was a gracious host who brought us delicious pastries and bagels and had great neighborhood tips to share with us. He even let us secure our bikes in his shed! The location of this apartment is excellent. It is a short walk to the beach and extensive Vancouver bike paths. We cycled all over the city and absolutely loved it! It is also a short walk up to 4th Ave. shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Sid is an attentive and knowledgeable host. A burned-out nightlight bulb was replaced by a new nightlight within 15 minutes of sending him a text. Questions about nearby coffee shops were answered with suggestions and recommendations for all our dining needs.This quiet corner location is within easy walking distance of retail shops, restaurants, banks, grocery stores, local bus routes, and the sea.The motion sensor lights keep the path to the front door safe - no fumbling in the dark with the house key.The shower boasted plenty of hot water and force as well as a wide area shower head - just what we long-haired folks like.This was a excellent experience, a residence I will visit again.

Excellent location in Kitsilano, near beach area and parks and close to stores and buses. Also was geographically close to family that we were visiting, as the main reason we were there. Sid was friendly and helpful in providing information about nearby restaurants and he provided delicious baked goods. Sid and Alix have sweet small dog. We provided comments for several improvements intended to be constructive, directly to Sid. It was very expensive.

My partner and I were lucky enough to stay with Sid and Alix during the last weekend of Taylor Swift's Eras tour. They were nothing short of perfect hosts. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a wonderfully curated bottle of wine and pastries. The attention to detail - and care - continued throughout our stay. The unit is stocked with anything you could ever need for a trip. My partner and I have traveled a lot (separately) and agreed this was the most prepared rental we've ever had. I will gladly stay here again and again whenever I'm in Vancouver.

This was cute comfortable place to stay with just about everything you'd need. We liked the location as it was safe and clean, in a nice area of town. Parking was on the street, but we never had trouble finding a place to park that was close by. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Host (Sid) was great. Found pastries at our door on the 1st morning, and some wonderful Montreal style bagels and cream cheese on day 2. Just a few blocks walk to commercial district along 4th Ave ... shout out to Lokal Coffee Shop (we started our days there) ... and to the Kitsilano beach scene and dining establishments nearby.

It's a nice little basement property. Some of the furniture is dated, but it was still a very pleasurable stay. The beds were comfortable and the owner was great. He brought us bakery items on a couple of occassions. It's close to the beach and lots of restaraunts. We enjoyed our stay.

This is our second stay at this property. Perfect size for a couple/two couples or kid or two and comfortably appointed. The owners are delightful and welcoming. And the neighborhood is fabulous - walk to great restaurants, shops, and the beach! We cannot wait for our next visit.

Sid really cares about his guests. He left us a welcome treat, suggested some good eats and activities, and checked in the next day. He knew we were driving a few hours to the airport in Bellingham the morning we checked out and brought us bagels for the road. The unit is on a quiet side street, and was quiet enough for me to sleep sans earplugs. I am a light sleeper and that is not a given. Thank you Sid!

We chose this property as it was close to our son and his wife and Kitslano turned out to be a perfect location. The property is well laid out and had everything we needed. Sid was lovely and provided excellent communication, before and during our stay resolving a couple of items very promptly. We would choose to return if we visit Vancouver again.

This apt in a house in the neighborhood of Kitsilano is perfect. We were 2 older adults who wanted to explore Vancouver on public transportation. The location for this is perfect. It has close bus stops for the 2 buses that we needed to get to almost all of the neighborhoods. Buses are easy to navigate, they come often, you tap in with your cc for each ride but only pay for one ride so super inexpensive. Neighborhood is quiet but with restaurants and shops within walking distance. We were greeted by Sid and a bottle of wine and 2 pastries! He then took us on a short neighborhood tour in his car to show us where the shops and restaurants are. The apt is small but clean with comfortable beds, hot water, a very sufficient kitchen and laundry room! Sid checked in with us everyday via messaging to see if we needed anything. On our last day Sid gave us a ride to the train. Thank you Sid and Alix for a wonderful stay in Vancouver.

Sid and Alix are wonderful hosts! Great fun, lots of tips about where to go and what to do. Their place is in an incredible spot, walk to Kitsilano pool, beach, shops, supermarket, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is very well equipped and the laundry was a bonus. The garden is delightful, it was lovely to sit and have a cuppa on arrival outside in the fresh air, with pastries bought by our hosts, who also ensured we had milk! Above and beyond. Very good value.

We spent 3 perfect days at Sid's place in Kitsilano. We got an early check in and were met with wonderful treats on arriving and the morning we left Sid delivered more wonderful treats from one of the many fantastic bakeries in the area. The great location let us park the car and walk to all our events and restaurants - lots of excellent restaurants. Public Transit was 5 minutes from the house so easy to go anywhere if you are not into driving. We plan to be back next year for another visit.

We went to Vancouver so my 16yr old daughter and a friend could go to the Louis Tomlinson concert at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre at UBC. The apartment is in a perfect location between the concert, beaches, Granville Island and a local Pub. The hosts were there when we needed them and let us do our own thing when we didn’t. It was a great place to stay. With the 2 bedrooms and easy access to the Transit system we had a great time!

Sid was a great host. He was courteous, caring, and thoughtful. He made sure there were refreshments and a light snack for us to get us through our first night there, as we arrived late after a long day of travel. Great location, very close to the fun shops and eateries of Kits Beach. Beds were very comfortable and easy to catch a cab or Uber to the downtown area. We didnt want to leave.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in this lovely space, right in Kitsilano. It was the perfect place to explore from - close to the beaches, major bus routes and groceries/restaurants. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well-stocked and the space was perfect for our family of 4. Sid and Alix were so lovely, made our arrival special, and checked in on us regularly. Would definitely love to come back here in the future, highly recommend this place to stay!

This is one of the best short-term rentals I've had among dozens in Vancouver. Great, present, helpful hosts. Treats on arrival after a very long day much appreciated. Very 'homey'---most places maybe have shampoo and a salt shaker and a couple of tea bags, this is amazingly provisioned both in kitchen and bathroom. Also, there is an air fryer. But beyond that, pleasant art decoration and attention to detail just makes it feel like a real place and not some basement someone's put a fold out couch in. Also close enough to walk to main drag or the beach, or a bus stop. We hope to be back.

I annually book an appt at Kits beach to visit my daughter and this one is a keeper. The appt is cozy, has everything we need, walking distance to great attractions, and Sid was an amazing host. We will be back :)
