This place is amazing for a relaxing holiday in Florida. With five adults and 2 poodles our family can be difficult to please in one location. We returned to AMI and Holmes Beach because everyone loves it here! This house had some issues, but we still had a great time. The kitchen is fine, but needs all new pots and pans. The entire home needs some love...new sofas are needed in the livingroom. The scheduled maintenance happens during your stay rather than prior to arrival. This is annoying and leaves you raking and cleaning during holidays! The pool guy came on Friday, our last day there, this chemical fix left us without our pool!😢� We were glad there were no children in our group. The loose tile around pool deck and various other maintenance issues could be dangerous for little ones. The dressers need replacing because the drawers fall out and were splintered and stained inside. Would be nice if the grill worked properly too. The huge backyard got 5 barks from my poodles, after I raked up 3 huge piles of debris. Loved the hot tub once it warmed. Had to bail several inches of water from the pool to stop back flow from cooling the Jacuzzi. I think this place needs work but the location is awesome. I recommend it for adults who are willing to deal with some issues on their own. If you report and want issues fixed during your stay, you will waste days doing the maintenance superintendents job. I have stayed at many HomeAway properties, some with agency control and others owner direct. Not a fan of this association, unorganized and not very effective. The individual people were all very nice, but not efficient. Location 5 stars. Property 3 stars. Rental association 1 star. Not recommended for children under 14.
