The Emerald Bay property was a very nice property for the price. The location is 2 blocks from the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. A couple garbage bags, 1 roll paper towel, 2 or 3 dishwasher detergent tabs, a sponge and dish soap provided. Need to provide your own laundry detergent for the stackable washer/dryer. Bathrooms had two rolls of toilet paper each. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand soap provided. They also supplied beach/bath towels, but had limited wash cloths. The pool/hot tub was heated. Just note that there are palm bushes around the pool that fall into the pool, so you will need to use the skimmer to clean the pool daily, but they made it feel tropical and gave you privacy which was nice. The hot tub was nice and hot, but the blowers were not very strong like a typical hot tub. The furniture outside was nice and appeared new. Pool/beach towels, blow ups, beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, cooler, sand toys, medal detector, and boogie boards provided and in good condition. One bike was provided. Basketball game and foosball in garage for entertainment. Property was pretty clean, but walls were a little dirty and furniture is stating to show some wear. Bed skirt was dirty in one room, but sheets were clean. Showers could used a good deep clean to get rid of mineral deposits around drains/glass edges. Couch in living room needed repair, but they sent someone to fix it. Beds were not bad. For the price I would definitely stay here again.

The best thing about the property is the comfort of the beds. Plenty of sleeping space and a lot of bathrooms. I would’ve preferred a much nicer detachable showerhead for shampooing and shaving but the soaps and shampoo were very nice. Since the washcloths were not set out, I wasn’t even aware that there were washcloths until my daughter looked under the sink. There were plenty of beach supplies and night lights for the pool and an outdoor shower. It would be nice if they were to add steppingstones over top of the gravel to get from the gate to the outdoor shower in bare feet. They have good trash pick up Service and cable tv. I had an overcharge from booking through a third-party website and it was corrected very quickly. Our pets were permitted and we used the grass across the street for potty breaks. Just be sure to clean up after your pups! Also, this home is approximately three blocks from the beach, and this area of the water was never very crowded. I ended up sleeping on the third floor since I have a bad knee, but I could’ve slept on the second floor if I wanted to. I did Report to the property manager that the pool man added chlorine and not much else. We only swam a few times because we asked that he scrub the algae from the pool walls and pool seating areas and sun deck and skim the dirt out because we didn’t have a skimmer, Those never got done. We really wanted to pool to be our main hang-out, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Pools are most important!
