About this apartment rental
Housed in the most central district of Berlin (Mitte), Guesthouse Moabit’s apartments are in a quiet street within a lively central neighbourhood that is well connected to the local sights. The nearest subway station, Turmstraße, can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot, the metro station Beusselstrasse is just 10 minutes by foot or a 3 minute bus trip away; and many buses to get around the city are accessible in under 3 minutes. A direct bus to the central train station allows a comfortable commute to BER airport by train.
The apartments are bright, cosy, and seek to create a homelike atmosphere. They are all equipped with either a kitchen or a smaller kitchenette that includes hobs, a minifridge, and an electric kettle along with basic cooking implements. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. WiFi connectivity is available in all areas and street parking is possible in the surrounding blocks.
The beautiful river Spree is just around the corner and the nearby streets are dotted with numerous cafés, eateries, and bars. Berlin’s large Tiergarten park is a very short bus ride away and the well-known shopping avenue, Ku’damm, is 3 subway stops from Turmstraße.

Gregor and the staff are very kind and helpfull, the communication with them before our arriving was excellent, also the check-in and the check out were ok, they allowed us to do the check-in in advance because the apartment was free. Taking in consideration that we were two men without big expectations, the apartmen isn't bed but it's quiet old, they should refurbish it and at least they should install a couple of black courtains on the windows because there is no privacy and the morning light can distrub your sleeping. From my point of view the biggest problem is the position, because it's true that there are a lot of bars, place in which you can eat and supermarket near the apartment, but you need at least 35 minutes by the public transportation to get to the city center (Mitte), you have to take at least two different kind of public transports (bus and metro usually), and even more to reach other important touristic places like check-point Charlie or Berlin wall. Also the neighborood where having fun during the night like Kreuzberg of Friedrichshain and the discos are quite far, becuase they are in the east side of the city, we needed to take Huber or Bolt every evening spending more or less 20€ to go there and other 20€ to get back to the apartment.
